"This was perfect for the two of us. We loved that it was close enough to everything we wanted to do/see but out of the congestion/ crowds when we were ready to relax and chill by the ocean. The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and well kept. The only downside was the large public parking lot between our balcony and the ocean however there was a nice patio with lounge chairs down by the water for us to enjoy. The staff were very kind and helpful. "

"We loved our stay! The balcony is amazing and we tried to enjoy every minute out there soaking in the views and listening to the ocean. Giusi is the best host! She made sure we arrived by helping book the taxi, showed us around and made sure we were comfortable and got a plumber in right away when we needed it."

Only caution I would give is there is a lively bar next to the property, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the home. "This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment had everything our party of 4 needed. It was spacious & had several decks to make the most of the spectacular views of the surrounding hills & sea. Quite simply breathtaking! Our communication with Laura was great & she kindly let us check in early when our travel arrangements changed which was greatly appreciated. "We absolutely loved our stay! This was the perfect location just a three minute walk to the entrance of the Main Street of Taormina with shopping, restaurants and cafes all around. The property has a beautiful pool with a stunning view. The unit is so close to town but so peaceful being just on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle. There is also parking and the unit is very spacious for a family of 4. We would not hesitate to book here again!"

"We had a fantastic time at Hotel Splendid, with wonderful views of the sea. Staff were all helpful and professional. It is in a great location, away from the main hassle and bustling tourist crowds, but with easy access to all the sights. Also, on the Expedia website it states there is no lift at this hotel, this is wrong. There are 2 lifts all the way up to the 5th floor! This was very much welcomed as we were staying on tge 4th floor. "
