The hotel is really far away from the City Center. However, the rooms were comfortable and clean. I think the hotel should put more interest in the breakfast as it was a low-point in my trip. Breakfast should provide fresh options of fruit and juice instead of what they currently offer.

Staff doesn't speak English, breakfast not so good. The location is great - right beside the train station, but it's far from Taichung city center.

The shower drain was clogged. Breakfast selection was limited. Overall it was a decent hotel, but fell well below expectation because it was rated 4 stars by Expedia. I would give it 3 stars at the very most.

Great staff. Location is central and just across the street from the train station. Hall smelled of cigarette smoke rooms didn't. Breakfast was quite nice, traditional Taiwanese. Bike rentals across the street. Shopping near by.

Hotel that's worth it :)
Definitely I will choose this hotel again if any chance to revisit. Spacious room at fair price and with good breakfast. Plus the bed is really comfortable. The best location which is right next to the train station surely provides the most convenience to me.

Great comfort and location
It was a very pleasant stay - helpful and friendly staff, great amenities, spacious and clean room, and the breakfast was also quite nice. It's also very conveniently located, with a lot of restaurants and a night market within a walking distance of 10 minutes.

1) I coudn't stand in the shower/tub - had to kneel to wash my head. 2) A wash cloth was not provided. 3) The Internet didn't work. 4) There were bug traps placed in my room. 5) Expedia price did not include breakfast, which was an additional charge.

Big hotel with great service by the Fengyuan train
It is so convenient staying here. About 20-30 minute by train to the high speed train station (xinwuri). We got upgrade and the view on the 8th floor is nice. The bus station is about 200 m. away. The staff provide great support even print out the local train schedule for us. The breakfast has a variety of selection. Great taste too.

Would revisit if I ever travel here again!
This is one of the biggest family room I’ve ever stayed in! Extremely huge space given, bed was huge for 2 pax and TV size is huge too. The bathroom was such a pleasant one as it was freaking spacious and clean.

Good family hotel
Good Hotel. In Fengyuan, a smaller "city" about 15 mins north of Taichung by train, 30 mins by drive. We'd ideally prefer to stay in Taichung, but this was the only hotel in the area we could find with baby cribs and high ratings. They were able to accommodate us with neighboring rooms. Very good staff and service.

Excellent Hotel, good location
This is a very good hotel, and is right next to the station. You will walk 50 meters out from the station gate, and there you are. Room was wonderful! HUGE bed. Amenities are good, and staff is extra friendly, and very helpful. I would recommend that the hotel restaurant stay open longer than 9 pm, it was shocking to all customers, most of whom were Taiwanese. All in all, I would stay there again if I come to Taichung, and have already recommended it to a friend.

Convenient and comfortable
It was close to both the bus and the train station, giving easy access to the places you want to visit in Taichung. We had a free upgrade to a business class room which was very comfortable. However, the central cooling system for the air-conditioning was a tad too cold and we had to turn it off (winter was already chilling us out)

Things are great, but...
Service is great, food is delicious, room is clean, things are good, but, the double bed is terribly unsustainable for body backbone. End up our trip with backache the next day.

Great location & breakfast!
We have stayed here a couple times in our visit to Taiwan. The hotel is conveniently located next to Fengyuan train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has terrific selections.
