Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. 2 kleine Mankos (für uns): das Bett mit 1,60 m ist leider zu klein für größere Menschen. Das hatte ich leider bei der Buchung übersehen. Die Garage (Duplex) war für unser Auto (VW Tiguan) nicht nutzbar. Ansonsten alles top.

Das Apartment befindet sich im 1.OG eines sehr ruhigen Mehrapartmenthauses. Das mit vielen liebevollen kleinen Details gut ausgestattete Apartment verfügt über eine große Wohnküche mit (Ost)Balkon, einem geräumigen Bad mit Dusche und Waschtrockner, einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ebenfalls einem (West)Balkon. Die Balkone sind jeweils mit Stühlen ausgestattet, sodass man, je nach Geschmack, in der Sonne oder im Schatten sitzen könnte. Im Schlafzimmer ist ausreichend Stauraum für die mitgebrachte Kleidung vorhanden. Auch ein Bügeleisen und ein Bügelbrett gehören zur Ausstattung, sodass man gar nicht so viel Kleidung mitbringen muss, da man zwischendurch waschen und bügeln könnte. Die Küche verfügt neben einem Herd, einem Backofen, einer Geschirrspülmaschine, noch über eine Mikrowelle, zwei verschiedenen Kaffeemaschinen (Nespresso und Filtermaschine), einem Toaster, Wasserkocher, Geschirr, Töpfe und extrem viel Stauraum. Zudem gehört eine Garage zum Apartment. Während unseres Aufenthaltes auf Sylt (29.04.-05.05.), haben wir unser Auto die ganze Zeit in der Garage gelassen, weil wir es aufgrund der guten Busverbindungen und der gut ausgebauten Fahrradwege nicht gebraucht haben. Das Apartment liegt in der Boysenstr., von wo aus man in kürzester Zeit in der Friedrichstraße, der „Einkaufsmeile“ von Westerland ist. Neben den ganzen Möglichkeiten zum Shoppen, bieten sich ausreichend Restaurants und Cafés zum verweilen an. Wer früh morgens frische Brötchen möchte, muss nur kurz links in die Friedrichstraße abbiegen, in der sich die Bäckerei „Raffelhüschen“ befindet, die ab 7 Uhr eine große Auswahl an verschieden Brötchen, Broten und anderen Backwaren anbietet. Schräg gegenüber vom Apartment, befindet sich das Restaurant „Stadtgeflüster“, in dem man hervorragend speisen kann. Ansonsten, für die, die nicht selber kochen wollen, befinden sich in der Friedrichstraße oder in einer der vielen Nebenstraßen alle möglichen, kulinarischen Gegebenheiten, sodass jeder etwas für seinen Geschmack und/oder Geldbeutel finden sollte. Vorher reservieren ist empfehlenswert. Wer also ein Apartment mit zentraler Lage sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof, ca. 1km, machen es auch denen, die mit dem Zug anreisen, einfach, fußläufig zum Apartment zu gelangen. Erfreulich ist auch die ruhige Lage. Ob man dann später in den Norden oder in den Süden der Insel möchte, egal, Westerland liegt so zentral, dass man von hier aus flott überall hinkommt. Egal ob Auto, Bus oder Fahrrad. Und wer es liebt, zu flanieren oder in einem Café sitzend das Treiben zu beobachten, der ist erst recht hier richtig am Platz. Die Abwicklung, zwecks Schlüsselübergabe durch SAS, verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert.
