Studio could do with a facelift was a bit tired looking . Awkward position of powerponts In kitchenette. Air conditioning control panel was damaged made it difficult if not impossible to change. Grounds and pool area was fantastic. Ample parking on site. Would pay return visit.

The hotel was really close to the beach and easily accessible for walking. The local shops were great and all in walking distance.

Very beautiful location and good staff. Room had a few dated items but overall a good place to stay. Just make sure you are aware of stairs to reach the higher levels!

Comfortable self contained room suitable for singles or a couple. Access to Chilli Cafe 89 is excellent. My only gripe is stairs to the upper floors which is inconvenient if you are aged or struggle with walking. Otherwise can highly recommend and will be staying again.

This is a wonderful property at the south end of a Long Beach waterfront walk. The staff were exceptional. The pool was amazing. The suite was perfect. Moorings Beach Resort is a perfect place to stay. I highly recommend it.

Nice view over the Pumiceton passage to Caloundra.

Tidy and comfortable, dated decor. Handy to shops. Up 3 flights stairs from basement carpark. Nice breeze most of time and views during stay.

We enjoyed our stay, easy check in and undercover parking. The pool area and cafe were great. The room we were in was nice and quiet.

Management’s willingness to accommodate guest requests was exceptional. Great value for money. Resort is located close to a variety of restaurants, take-aways and a supermarket. Undercover, secure parking. Property located very close to the beach.

The one bedroom unit was clean and spacious. We had a view of the beach from our balcony. The supermarket and choice of restaurants in the nearby shopping area was very handy. Secure underground parking was easy to access. Our two night stay was very comfortable.

Great location at the quieter end of the beach

The managers were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the air-conditioning which they attended to as soon as advised. Resort facilities were fabulous, and very well maintained. Our room was a little tired and could do with some updating, but overall loved our stay.

This is 1 of the best along Golden beach. Great value for money and very well priced. Great amenities and the managers are great to. No reasonable request is a problem and greet people upon arrival with a warm smile.

The overall accomodation was lovely and the grounds were immaculate and the gardens was having a makeover and the plants suited a pool area. the lady at reception was accomodating as well always friendly.

Unexpected stairs

Very comfortable and good location. Having to climb up 3 flights of stairs (no lift) with luggage was unexpected and tiring and should have been pointed out during booking. Car park was secure but a very tight fit and I would not have been able to get a larger car into the space beside the wall and door. The unit was very clean and well presented though and a great view over Golden Beach.

On site managers are very friendly and more than happy to help in anyway they can. Hotel has a wonderful beach side cafe called chill 89 cafe, coffee is just amazing,, best coffee on golden beach.

Thanks for your comments. I understand you were disappointed that the pool was under renovation and that you did not read there were stairs to the apartment you booked. We offered you a room with a lift for an extra cost but you declined. We take pride in the cleanliness of our rooms but we acknowledge we are not perfect, however when the room was checked prior to your arrival we did not discover any of the issues above.

Although the lounge and carpet could do with a shampoo, the one-bedroom apartment we had was perfectly comfortable. Lovely property in a great waterfront location, and with immaculately maintained facilities and gardens. Rebecca was a wonderful host and very welcoming. Highly recommended for those looking for a quiet, no-stress family holiday that’s close but not too close to the buzz of Caloundra. We’ll be back - if there’s ever a vacancy!

The unit was a little tired. The sofa (bed) in the living area was uncomfortable. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen area was tiny but adequate. No wifi, it used the coffee shop wifi when it was open, not open in the evenings except Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
