"First of the host was very helpful and easy to reach. This place was the perfect place for our winter family getaway. It has everything you need and more. The hot tub was great, game room and workout room was the highlight. The kitchen had every possible utensil and more. The rooms had really comfortable beds. Bunk beds worked great for the kids. The place was clean, and looked really nice (they just finished remodeling it a few days before we arrived). The property was big and offered privacy....

"The cabin was a mixture of efficiency and modern, artsy design. The kitchen area was very well designed and we loved the design of the fridge. They had everything a couple would need, coffee, towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. it appeared that the cabin was totally updated within the past two years. The back yard and fire pit setting was awesome. Will definitely be coming back!!"

Only downside was related to the "away from everything" positive because that included any cell service (Verizon), and not sure if it was just our misfortune but no internet access. In most cases that would be fine being disconnected from the outside world but a little tough if you were planning on doing a little work from...

"The Summit Inn feels like it was a top of the line hotel 30-40 years ago, and while still decently maintained, it hasn’t had an upgrade since. I’ve stayed there twice now, both during the off season, and it has been cheap and relatively pleasant. The brewery and restaurant across the street are fantastic, perfect for an after-hike refuel.
