"Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, can’t rate them highly enough. The hotel is very well kept and nicely finished. The food is amazing. Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. Only minor comment is Bathroom decor could do with a refresh but overall a very nice stay and would highly recommend a visit. "

"Accommodation was bright, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and polite. My only issue was the WiFi, I was in accommodation in a building detached from the main inn building. The WiFi was almost non-existent - as I was staying on business I rely on WiFi for the duration of my stay. It would be beneficial if the main building WiFi is extended to all accommodation. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant."

"Comfy and spacious room even though it was on the 3rd floor, with no lift. Good exercise for one with mobility issues! Lovely views of the meadows from the room, easy to bird watch. "staff were pleasant enough, but we stayed in the honeymoon suite which as you walk in has a carpeted area with a wardrobe, a sink in the corner, a shower (no curtain) and a jacuzzi bath??? The door to the left has a toilet and the door to the right has a four post bed, tv & side cabinets. "This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil"
