Fabulous stay such character and yet still clean and well kept. Staff were great nothing too much trouble , excellent value. Dinner was really good too as was breakfast Will stay again :-)

Weekend Break
We are returning customers and found the place to be as welcoming as before. The staff are always friendly and polite, our room was a little cold but we were offered a boost on the heating if necessary. There were a few issues in the shower room but these were reported on the system immediately. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. When it was noted that we were waiting quite a while for our food we were given an apology and offered more drinks. Not once did we have to ask about anything. Would highly recommended and will definitely be staying there again.

The perfect stay
Myself and my partner have been really looking forwards to a night away and were not disappointed at all. The staff were so friendly throughout our stay, the room was beautiful and so comfy and the breakfast the next morning was perfect. We will definitely be coming back and we are very grateful to the staff for such a wonderful experience.

The food was reasonable, the staff were friendly and helpful, however my single bed was more like an infant bed. Very small. My feet dangled off the end of the bed. The man in the room next to me left his TV on all night which I could hear through the walls.

Lovely pub but needs some TLC
Lovely pub with lovely bar/restaurant. Food menu was fairly broad and well cooked. Service overall was excellent. Had room 8 which seemed to have the water tank over it, so was noisy in the evenings, but quiet at night. The exterior needs some TLC, in particular the windows. I assume the building is listed as the metal windows are so over painted that they don't shut and the only saving grace is the secondary glazing panels. There is also a loose drain panel on the road outside that the traffic (on a busy road) goes over and clanks. Fine if the window panel is shut but otherwise very noisy.

Great welcome
Lovely pub with nice rooms. Plenty of parking for car. Breakfast good , cooked to order. A glass of juice would be a nice addition. Ate there one evening with a good meal on steak night. Staff all helpful and pleasant.

Dog And Doublett Inn - Stafford
The staff were all amazing and friendly down to the chef !! Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the food was amazing!! At breakfast coffee was always topped up without fail too. Will definitely book again.

Perfect one night stopover
Lovely coaching in a pub. Really welcoming and engaging staff. Log burning fires making it lovely and warm. Watch the football on a great TV and room was comfortable and warm. Also had an electric charging point. So a really perfect day overall. Food excellent.

Had a very pleasant stay with our dogs and especially like the home cooked breakfasts. Could have done with better lighting in our room as it was a bit dark due to small windows. Will definitely book again!

Great pub stay

Stafford trip
Breakfast was included and was very good. Rooms large bed large but hotel room needs major refurb, windows do not close snc shower needs replacement. On a very road but restaurant and bar look good.

Two night mid-week stay
The staff at the Inn gave us a friendly welcome and the room we were allocated had a comfortable bed, clean, modern well-maintained en-suite bathroom, plenty of hanging and drawer space and tea and coffee-making facilities. On the first day we had a very nice lunch and coffee and cake later. On the second day we had a very nice dinner. Breakfast on both days had plenty of choice and everything was prepared to order and delivered to the table. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Good for an overnight or longer stay
Nice old coach house type property. Rooms accessed by a staircase. Our room was of a reasonable size with all usual facilities to an acceptable standard. Comfortable bed, tea & coffee making facilities available. Bar well stocked & reasonably priced. Breakfast included in price was varied & excellent. Food available in evening was also of an excellent quality. Friendly & helpful staff. Free on site parking.

Venue was brilliant, clean and best of all very friendly smiling staff... only down fall was the bed mattress was comfortable but the bed frame was either broken or lose... every movement make a creek. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms very clean... will visit again but ask not to be in room 4

Was a lovely place although the room was very noisy becaue if the fan in the bathroom made it difficult to sleep. But when i mentioned it they said they would get right onto fixing it. So this is why im still giving them a 5 star review. As they where not aware. Very lovely place and would love to stay again. When working in the area

The room needs some attention, shower either very hot or cold toilet seat broken. Noisy room breakfast whilst tasty it took 40mins to get served. All very disappointing and as a regular visitor to the area I shall be looking for alternative places to stay

The hotel itself was very nice and the food and service were excellent. However the room I had was very disappointing for the money it cost. It was tiny with just enough room for a double bed. Mattress and pillows both very hard and this coupled with being right on a busy road made sleeping near on impossible.
