PROS: This view was absolutely perfect. The pool was beautiful and we could sit in the back all day enjoying the wildlife, water, and cityscape on the horizon. You also can’t miss the sunrise here! It’s worth the early morning. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. There were many conveniences like a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, a fabulous game room, and pool toys. It was so cozy and we felt very safe! It was quiet and peaceful, and I enjoyed it much more than staying in a busy high-rise condo by the beach.
CONS: With this house being at such a high price point, there were a few disappointments. The large shade umbrella on the back patio was broken, there was no propane for the fire pit, and the master bath was frustratingly small. There is an unfinished and messy construction site next-door that was somewhat of an eyesore, but didn’t bother us too much. The biggest frustration was the lack of communication about how to operate the spa. There was a remote in the home to control it, but with no directions. After spending a lot of time troubleshooting, I communicated with the owner to learn that it had to be turned on by them. That procedure was confusing and I was disappointed to not hear anything back one evening after making a request, and we didn’t get to use it. I think the owner could definitely provide some more clarity on that.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would recommend… Especially if you love a place with a peaceful view
