The building feels ancient, but is in excellent condition with modern amenities where you want them. The staff are extremely accommodating and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay the best it can be. It was the ideal ryokan experience.

The kind staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and the onsen cannot be beaten. The private onsen options were affordable and a wonderful experience, too. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I would give ten stars if I could.

We had a great time. Staff and location are brilliant. Breakfast buffet is really good with large Japanese food and western food section. The SPA is great and clean, but the rooms are very old and outdated, definitely time for an update.

Located in the heart of Ikaho's stone step slope, this beautiful ryokan is perfect for you if your main focus is exploring the historic area and/or Mt. Haruna nearby. The baths are certainly nice enough as well as the bedrooms, and the staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast is amazing too!

車を止める際に誘導してくださる方があまり感じ良くなかったので最初に憂鬱になってしまいました！中に入ると女性の方海外のスタッフの方がよくしてくださり安心しました

フロントやスタッフの方々の対応は素晴らしかったです。展望大浴場も気持ちよかったけどミストサウナが少しぬるくてちょっと残念でした。 朝食はとても美味しかったです！

Great ONSEN and warm hospitality
Room was clean and nice mountains view. Hot spring, ONSEN with three different types of bath, made me relax. Warm hospitality was given by hotel staff.

何回か宿泊させて頂いて　とても気に入った　旅館です。ですが，今回は　夕飯付きプランを，見つけられず　夕飯なしにて予約しました。いつもでしたら，着いてからお部屋の説明が終わると　荷物を持ってご案内してくれたのですが、利用した事があると伝えた事からか、部屋迄の案内もなく　ベッドメーキングも雑でシーツが、ズレてて残念でした。

歴史を感じる建物ですが、部屋は清潔感もありとてもよかったです。景色も低い雲と同じくらいで景色もよかったです。特に温泉は泉質もよかったですが、循環式でなく、かけ流しでかつ湯量も多いので、清潔感のある温泉でした。
