You get what you pay for
No one speaks English, one desk person used his phone to translate. There is breakfast,difficult to know the time of serving different times depending on day. Beds are firm like the floor and one blanket, no heating, no insulation. Friend's room had a window in the shower and could be seen from bedroom.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and I would never go back there even if it was for free. they lied and misrepresent themselves. the hotel is a bit far from the center and wi fi does not work.

Jitai Hotel is Ok
A bit of a walk to nearest metro at Shaanxi South station, line 1 & 10, but location is ok. You want exit 3 at station but a long walk up to street level so take exit 4 and walk across past the entrance to exit 3 and keep going. Walk straight until you come to Julu Rd. then turn right and find 242 on the left side of the road. A branch of ICBC is not far - go out hotel and turn left, turn right at first corner, it's on the left side of street in next block. A great Yunnan restaurant called Di Shui Dong is nearby. Biggest problems - off/on again wifi & I made the mistake of choosing a windowless room. You can get better rooms but further away. Value for money would be ok if same rate for a room with a window in same location.

Quite close to the subway
Our experience was a bit ok though we chose a room without a window. Had i known that there was no window in it, i wouldnt choose it but instead choose a room with a window. Exhaust was not really functioning well so everytime we got inside the room, bad odor welcomed us. We were staying there for 6 days. Food? They served the same breakfast menu the whole time. Though i like their food, but it would be good to serve with a lot of options. Good thing is that, it's quite closer to subway line 1. It's so easy to transfer or go to another places. But a lot of taxi drivers didnt know about the hotel. If you wanna stay there, please prepare important chinese words because all the hotel staff do not know how to speak english.

We'll located but shabby and in need of updating.
No internet to speak of - some staff helpful but others disinterested. Getting around difficult if you don't speak Chinese and the walls are thin, the place a bit dank and in need of update. Cheap but not that cheerful

I stay here weekly. First, the title +location information is WRONG. The hotel is nowhere near Renmin Square. It's at a great location though, on Julu Rd, between Ruijin +Maoming Roads, about equidistant between South Shaanxi Road + West Nanjing Road metros. It's 10 minutes walk to either metro and from there you can quickly access all of Shanghai's attractions. It's an old style hotel, with some charm, but very run down, and things are often not working. On different stays, there's been trouble with either heating, hot water or wifi. There are the standard issues with Chinese hotels: smoking everywhere, including in the lobby, escort cards under your door, a complete absence of window cleaning and sometimes (not always, some are helpful) surly staff. If these things shock you, good luck avoiding them in this country! But, on the whole, the location and a little deco charm do the trick. IMPORTANT: Some sites will show this hotel with an option for "Room with Windows". Be aware that only the 3rd tier "Business" option has windows with street views. The 2nd tier "Room with Windows" will get often you an internal room with a window onto a lightless shaft and wall. NOTE: There's currently construction work opposite which may annoy those who want to sleep during the day.

Good Location
Location was good near the main street in Shanghai and close to everything pretty much in the middle of the CBD area. The service wasn't up to sratch as i waited one hour to check in because they could'nt find my booking. The free breakfast as advertised be warned its chinese only.

Great area!
The hotel was not far from the South Shaanxi station. Shopping and food are close by. The only thing about the hotel was that the room key kept not working. So I had to keep going to the front desk to get it re-activated. I think they do it on purpose. The room was clean, but had some mold on the walls. Looks like they at least attempted to clean it. The bed was big and really comfortable. They also included an traditional Chinese breakfast. The food looked good, but I didn't eat since I was in a hurry. I would stay again.

The most terrible hotel experience ever
I visited china more than once and shanghai is one of my favorites. Hotel is the first option for me as most of my visits are short. In all of my stays hotels seems reasonable, decent and clean, and were always value for money. This hotel is a clear exception. The hotel is filthy, uncomfortable, and above all, does not provide any of the services advertised for. On expedia, hotel claimed to provide free continental breakfast and free wifi. That was an absolute lie. Staff were untrained and subsequently unprofessional.

Convenient Location – Reasonable P Decent Service
My stay was brief (three days). The hotel is located conveniently close to the Bund and not too far from the financial district. It has reasonable prices, it is clean and the staff speaks reasonably good English. I had no complaints.

Over the entire hotel get 100%.
After i booked at the hotel i had lot of doubts regarding the hotel, but i finally decided to go and experience the hotel. My stay at the Jithai hotel was excellent. The rooms were good price was good and more over its location was excellent everything was so easily accessible. Staffs are very helpful but the only problem is English speaking. But the staff is so good that they actually take effort to understand your need and full fill them. Over the entire hotel get 100%.

南京西路駅と淮海中路駅の中間に位置しどちらからも徒歩10〜15分程です。徒歩5分圏内にコンビニあり。 受付で英語は通じませんでした。またチェックイン時に1部屋につき100元のデポジットを現金であずけることになりました。100元はチェックアウト時に返却されます。 窓の鍵が壊れていて僅かにすきま風が入ってくるため暖房をつけないと少し寒いかもしれません。シーツやタオルがところどころ小さく破けている等していました。シャワーは不自由なく使えます。部屋に冷蔵庫がないこととポットが壊れている部屋があることが欠点だと思いました。 今回初めて上海旅行だったので比較対象がないのですが想像していたよりは快適で駅から少し歩く以外は特に不満な点もありませんでした。

Hissi haisee homeelle. Kolmen hengen huoneessa vain 2 kylpypyyhettä ja 2 vesipulloa. Toisena päivänä tuotiin kolmannet pyynnöstä, kun kolme työntekijää kävi katsomassa, että meitä oli kolme. Mutta kolmantena päivänä oli taas vain 2 kylpypyyhettä ja 2 vesipulloa. Ilma niin kosteaa, ettei pikkupyykki kuivunut vuorokaudessa. Mannermainen aamiainen oli riisiä, jonka seassa kananmunaa, tomaattia seassa kananmunaa, spagettia, joitain vokattuja vihanneksia, sämpylöitä riisijauhoista, kuumaa soijamaitoa ja kylmää vettä. Siis ei lihaa eikä kahvia eikä teetä. Henkilökunta ei ymmärrä englantia ja vain kiinankielisiä metrokarttoja oli tarjolla.

Never go to this hotel again…… The Air con seems not work properly. You cannot adjust the room temperature. I booked 3 double rooms this time…… The air con were suck…… and some of the toilet were stucked……

Cet hôtel n'est ni au standard Européen ni même au standard Chinois car sur nos 2 semaines d'itinérance nous avons pu largement constaté que c'était notre pire établissement. Il n'est pas normal qu'un site Français puisse laisser cet hôtel dans son catalogue!! Le hall d'accueil ne laisse rien paraitre mais il s'agit en fait d'un "hôtel de passe"(distribution de carte de visite de prostituées tout les soirs sous les portes de chambres, draps et sdb sales, salle de petits dèj à vous couper l'appétit,...)

安さ以外に評価できる点はほぼ無いです。
壁が薄すぎて周囲の部屋の音が丸聞こえ。夜中でも部屋の出入りや話し声、安眠とは程遠い環境です。 部屋には窓がなく、携帯の電波がほとんど入らず、廊下で使っていました。 朝食付きですが、ほぼイメージ通りのメニューで観光客には向いていません。ただ、立地環境はそれほど悪くなく、スタッフもホテルの質からすると良い方だと感じました。 同じ価格帯のホテルとしては良い方だと思いますが。。。

호텔이 아니라 모텔입니다. 시설이나 서비스 뭐하나 진짜 제대로 된게 없어요. 2박 예약했는데 첫날밤에 담배냄새 잔뜩 들어와서 참다참다 말했는데도 조치 안해주고 밤에 잠 못자다가 또 한번 말했더니 불친절한 태도로 방 바꿔준다고 하더라구요. 바꿧는데 냄새는 좀 괜찮아졌는데 소리가 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 옆방 윗방 소리가 다들려서 진짜 민망했어요. 실시간 야동도 아니고 진짜 절대가지마세요 기억삭제 하고 싶어짐. 결국 이어폰꼽고 겨우 잠들고 다음날 남은 1박은 취소해달랬더니 호텔스닷컴으로 예약했기때문에 안된다고해서 그냥 돈 포기하구 다른 호텔 갔습니다.

The room was clean, location great and the price was just right! We were the only western customers there. Our room didn't have a window and we didn't know this before we arrived. Some towels had holes in them and we had a clear window from the shower to the bedroom. The staff didn't know any english and they weren't that helpful either. Be sure to get your deposit money because they won't offer it unless you remind them about it when checking out. The hotel was peaceful and the surroundings also. Breakfast was traditional chinese and every morning the same. Air conditioning could have been better. But all and all quite satisfied when I compare the experience with the money I paid.

交通方便、便宜、環境乾淨
本來是住無窗特價大床房，但實在太壓抑，後來改住254rmb一天的商務雙床房，環境相當不錯，價格也很漂亮，雖然離地鐵站稍有距離，但周邊的環境還算不錯，長樂路跟威海路、進賢路上都蠻多餐廳小酒吧，就是毛巾舊了點，有些都洗破了....

位置好，服务好，卫生可以，但是无线网，电话信号不好
位置还可以，在两个地铁站的中间，走路15分钟可以到达1号线，2号线。房间大小可以，清洁度也很好。不方便的是，实在是。。。。无线网太差了。并且电话信号非常不好，对于出差的人来说不太方便。服务是挺好

何もかも最低
まず、地図の違いが酷すぎます。地図の位置から約2kmも離れたところでした。探すこと約2時間。　到着後、チェックインして部屋に行くと、クリーニングがしてなく汚い状態でした。　直ぐにフロントに行き、部屋をチェンジしてもらいました。　デポジット支払いに、VISAカードが通らなくて使用出来ませんでした。現金で支払いました。　中国では、VISAカードが使えないことが、多々あります。　立地は、付近にはコンビニなどはありません。　数件、飲食店が開いていましたが、メニューが無く、英語は通じません。　ただ、良かったのは静かでした。

Vi letade efter en billig övernattning i Shanghai och hittade detta. Saker som man bör veta: 1. De billiga rummen har inga fönster (utom ett fönster in mot duschen där man kan se sin partner duscha). 2. Ingen bland den personal vi träffade talade engelska, och man var inte heller överdrivet hjälpsam med saker som inte direkt hade med hotellet att göra. 3. Hotellet ligger inte särskilt nära Renmin Square, andra tunnelbanestationer är betydligt närmare.

Value for money.
Great value for money. Perfect for them who are just looking for a cheap bed for a night. Location is good. We stayed few nights and only spent time in our room when we had to sleep. Metro is quite close so easy to move around. West Nanjing Road is the closest station, comes from Pudong, 2 line. Breakfast is chinese; noodles, vegetables, steamed bread etc.

Hôtel satisfaisant. Sa situation proche des métros et de huaihua road en font un point de passage intéressant.? De plus la propreté des chambres est correcte. Le personnel est assez serviable quoiqu'un peu revêche mais ça je pense que ça ne vient pas de l'hôtel. En revanche personne ne parle un mot d'anglais.

一间没什么設施的酒店，装修感觉也很舊，位置比較偏，附近没有什么商店。房间清潔麻麻，床頭几看得出没有抹过，有灰尘，雖然有窗户，但是假的，看不到外面而且也关不上。只考虑到二百几元一晩就不算了吧

Hotellet lå i praktisk afstand fra metrostation og spisesteder. Der var ikke meget støj, så man kunne sove roligt. Værelset havde ingen vinduer og var ikke indrettet "hyggeligt". Men sengen var blød og badet virkelig lækkert! Hvis man bare leder efter et sted at overnatte, er det ganske udmærket. Dog kunne personalet ikke finde vores reservation da vi ankom, og troede at vores depositum skulle tages som betaling selvom vi allerede havde betalt. Men hvis man forbereder sig på disse småting, er hotellet okay. Personalet var søde og samarbejdsvillige, når vi påpegede fejl.

地図に載っていた場所と全然違う場所にホテルがあった為、到着するのに苦労した　また既にクレジット決済をしていたのに、通じていなかった　部屋は可も無く不可も無く　広さは十分だったがベッドは固かった

Gutes Hotel
Lage des Hotels ist nicht schlecht, Metrostationen South Shaanxi und West Nanjing Road sind nicht weit weg. Ausstattung des Hotels ist schon etwas veraltet, die Zimmer sind aber soweit recht sauber. Das Personal war freundlich und ist unserem Wunsch, die Zimmer eines vorherigen Aufenthalts zu bekommen, nachgegangen. Deswegen der Tipp: Nach den Zimmern mit den "weichen Betten" fragen, diese sind schöner und geräumiger. Unterm Strich ist das Preisleistungsverhältnis optimal, sofern man sich mit weniger zufrieden gibt.
