Just ok, but to expensive
Hotel in good location, right next to the lake. But nothing special is in the neighborhood. Is not worthy to pay more for the location. Room was quite old. I expected more for the price.

Pleasant Stay
Wunderbar! The location was perfect, with great views and access to walking routes. Room and amenities were great (note - there is no kettle in the room). All staff were super friendly and the restaurant serves a great breakfast and dinner. Danke schon Hotel Konigssee!

Great place to stay
We stayed in a newly remodeled room, very nicely and tastefully done. From the bay window looking towards the side we saw the lake. The included breakfast was tasty with a nice selection, and the dinner there was one of the best we had on our entire trip. Nice views of the lake from the restaurant as well. The staff was very helpful and nice. You are right there by the lake, just steps away. Would definitely recommend.

Nice location, disappointing hotel
Hotel room was as far from the front door as was possible. Ceiling and doorway were both very low, room was very outdated and it was impossible to turn around in the tiny bathroom. Hotel did not appear to be anywhere near full so we were baffled at receiving that room.

Perfect location while poor facilities.
++++ The location is absolutely perfect to visit Königssee and Jennerbahn. Furthemore, the restaurant which located in hotel is also nice place to see the lake. Service is also good ----- However, funiture is little bit old- such as unparalleled beds, and the hotel shares parking spaces with others.

A nice hotel right on the waterfront within a minute's walk from the boat trips across the Konigsee Lake. Breakfast was good and so was the evening meal (with large portions). Staff very friendly and my room was cleaned very quickly in the mornings.

close to the pier for boat trip
similar to other old buildings turned hotels commonly found in Europe, the room is not very large in terms of area and somehow feel quite old and dark. also to note there is no elevator in case you have a heavy luggage to carry. the hotel front entrance is facing the pedestrian zone. if u are driving to the hotel, the route suggested by google map is currently blocked due to construction activity for the new jennerbahn. better check with the hotel in advance before driving there, or u will be driving in circles like i did.

Great!
This hotel was beautiful with a great restaurant. The location is amazing. Walk out the door and there's lots of local shops, lake Konigssee, mountains and the ferry boat right there. It also includes parking and breakfast. The staff are very friendly as well.

Disappointed.
The surrounding national park is amazing. We loved the location but the hotel was relatively expensive for what we got. The hotel was very outdated, our wifi didn't work, and the breakfast was not good. I'd find other hotels in the area that are much cheaper and serve the same local area.

Perfect location for quiet getaway
The hotel has a Bavarian charm and had all we needed. It is right by the lake and has a beautiful view of the mountains and water from the biergarten on a sunny day We are from the US and didn't have any problems with language barrier with hotel staff. All staff were exceptionally nice. WiFi is available which was great for planning. Able to hike from the hotel. Easy to get to from Bertchesgaden via bus

Disappointing
The surrounding area is beautiful. stunning scenery. But most of the local building look tired and devoid of the normal alpine charm. It looked to me as though the area had been in decline for some years. The reception staff were not very friendly and we were made to feel like a problem for asking to stay a second night. In the end we don't because the hotel and area was so quiet. Literally nothing open after 8 except the hotel bar. The woman working on the bar was the saving grace of that hotel. She was very friendly and kind. Overall this hotel has potential but the rooms are very small and very tired looking. Not a very comfortable environment to be in.

Expensive hotel in a great location
This hotel is in a great location right on the lake shore and therefore is somewhat expensive.The room was clean but basically furnished with comfortable bed.The balconies do not have any views except the few at the front of hotel which attract a premium payment. Service is friendly and the food in the restaurant is good. The traditional dish is worth trying.If going on the lake it is only one minute from the boating dock.

Hotel is in tourist town
This is a very busy tourist area. The hotel is difficult to drive to. I would recommend parking in the pay lot and then move your car to the limited hotel parking area after the tour buses leave for the day. We were pleasantly surprised how quite this hotel was, no noise problems with the windows open. The hotel gets heavy use and shows it a little. The room was very clean. The only reason we gave the room a pleasing score instead of excellent was because the door sill going in to the bathroom was a real toe stubber.

Beautiful Setting on the Lake
Great location right by the lake surrounded by restaurants and market stalls. Free carparking and guest cards for discounts for near by activities. Great destination for families and hikers. Beautiful setting. Only thing missing was air conditioning as the rooms were quite stuffy in the heat

A quaint hotel in the heart of the tourist area
Very old building, no iron no Arning board and no refrigerator. No heat or air control. It does have a balcony. No coffee pot . No safe. But it is in a good area of the tourist, and close to all facilities in that region. The staff does try their best to accommodate you and they try to treat you well. Overall my day was OK

Die Einrichtungen sind etwas alt, aber sehr sauber. Parkmöglichkeit ist sehr gut, und besonders freundlich ist das Personal! Das Restaurant ist auch sehr klasse. Die Lage ist einfach die Beste am Königssee! Wir haben hier eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt, vielen Dank! Immerwieder sehr gerne.

Wir waren hier für 2 Übernachtungen. Was man sehr positiv sagen muss, dass der gesamte Service sehr aufmerksam war. Allerdings muss man aber auch sagen, dass hier das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis so gar nicht passt. Zwar waren die Zimmer sehr sauber, aber sehr klein mit Möblierung, welches schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Matratze brachte nicht wirklich Erholung. Natürlich, Lage muss bezahlt werden, aber es muss auch ein wenig geboten werden für 160€/Nacht.

Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Lage direkt am See und an der Fußgängerzone. Parkplatz Probleme gibt es dort auch nicht. Das Haus stammt aus Ende 1800 ist immer mal wieder erweitert worden, was kein Nachteil ist aber es sind Stufen und Absätze dadurch bedingt vorhanden. Durch aus aber empfehlenswert.

Gutes Hotel in Top Lage
Die Lage ist super direkt am Königssee. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen war lecker, abends konnte man gemütlich, im Biergarten bei einem Glas Wein, den Blick auf den Königssee genießen. Einzigster Nachteil, das Bad ist etwas klein, aber es ging auch man war ja schließlich nicht zum Wellness machen hier. Rundum ein schönes Hotel

Familiär geführtes Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt rundum genossen. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und manchmal etwas zu klein. Alles in allem ein Hotel in super Lage und sehr zu empfehlen.
