Nice hotel in small German village
We needed a hotel the night before our QM2 transatlantic crossing from Hamburg. This nicely kept hotel was perfect as it was about 30 minutes south of Hamburg and was clean, comfortable and a great deal cheaper than anything I could find in Hamburg. Note: finding the correct pier is a nightmare. Everyone including a cab drive just told us it was "very complicated " and could not give us directions. The German gps led us into the river.

lovely little place
Little gem of a hotel, older, but very quaint. In a great location just off the motorway, in a gorgeous little village. Room was clean and quiet, staff were helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The staff was rude and not helpful at all. The place is not easy to get in and out; handicap don't go there. The health center was closed and did not respond to either telephone or email. No massage

Pleasant Rural Hotel.
Off the beaten track and no hot drinks facility in the room - seems to be a common feature in European hotels - but a very pleasant experience, nonetheless. Staff very helpful.

Good Find for a Stopover near Hamburg
Hotel is deceptively close to the motorway going towards Hamburg, but far enough away to be nice and quiet. It's located in a small town, but the staff speak good English and were very helpful. There is plenty of free parking at the rear which is accessible for large vans / camper-vans. Only stayed one night on a trip towards Hamburg and didn't actually have breakfast or dinner here as was in a rush but would definitely recommend it as a great stopover location about 40 minutes away from Hamburg.

Nice place, dodgy wifi
Not central in any way but fit me by being close to the motorway. The room was nice and clean but I could hear a little more from the neighbors than I would've hoped. Wifi access was sporadic at best in the room, but very good in public areas. Not a bad stay in any way, but not spectacular either. Good bread for breakfast.

Small and stuffy room.
Located conveniently near the highway. The hotel room was clean but the amenities were lacking. There was no fridge or heater for boiling water. The wireless internet connection was intermittent at best.

It was just overnight stay on the way and for this purpose it is very good place, very clean with good breakfast. Close to Hamburg (very close to motorway without any noise). Nice price :)

Great location next to motorway
The village is very quiet and small but perfect if you are just continuing to drive on highway. Very quiet meaning very good sleep! And spa facilities also if needed. No any bad word to say.

Traditional hotel in rural setting
Very reasonable rates for degree of comfort offered. Conveniently situated for motorway. Decor a bit dated but nevertheless comfortable. Great breakfast buffet - lots of choice. Bar and reception manned only intermittently so helps if you are patient.

Lovely hotel in the quiet countryside
The hotel is very pleasant. Our room looked out on trees and was very quiet. The restaurant has good local food. Not much English is spoken which didn't bother me but could be a problem for someone with no German. I'd stay here again.

Ruhiges Landhotel
Angenehmer Aufenthalt, Zimmer und Frühstück gut. Leider bietet das Hotel abends nur in unregelmäßigen Abständen warme Küche an wenn größere Busgruppen im Hotel übernachten.

Wie schon des öfteren beschrieben, ist das Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Renovierung wäre notwendig. Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, Einrichtung alt. Beim Frühstück kommt es auf die Bedienung oder die eigene Hartnäckigkeit an, ob und wann man einen Kaffee bekommt. Sauna kann ich nicht beurteilen, da nicht genutzt. Pool ist ok, aber dafür 3 € zu verlangen ist unv.... Obwohl Businesszimmer gebraucht, war es nicht als solches zu erkennen, die anderen sahen gleich oder sogar besser aus

Bed bug’s bites.
Flott plass. Ankom sent, reiste tidlig og fikk ikke sett oss mye rundt. Virket som et slitt hotell men med store og gode rom. Vår største bemerkning er renhold. Dette gjelder også et annet hotell vi overnattet på i samme område for ca to uker siden. Grunnlaget for dette er ‘bedbugs bites’....... finner ikke noe navn på hva det var på rommet vårt eller i sengen. Kunne ikkje se de, men har så mye kløende sår og byller etter de to oppholdene, at å overnatte i dette området igjen vil ikke komme til å skje på mange år. Håper bare ikke at vi har fått de med i bagasjen hjem også. Kan absolutt ikke anbefales.

Helt fint og rent hotel. Restauranten ret skuffende. Kedelig cafémad med r masseproducerede råvarer. Ekstrapris for hund højere en sædvanligt. Ialt for dyrt i forhold til oplevelse.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel
In diesem Hotel haben wir nun bereits zum dritten Mal übernachtet und der Aufenthalt war erneut sehr angenehm. Der Check-In verlief freundlich und schnell und das uns zugewiesene Zimmer entsprach unseren Erwartungen: ausreichend groß, sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist ausgewogen und reichhaltig. Der Service beim Frühstück war aufmerksam und freundlich. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch die gute verkehrstechnische Anbinding zu Hamburg, sowohl mit dem Auto, als auch mit dem Bus. FAZIT: Das Hotel ist zu empfehlen und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht im Hotel. Das Mobiliar war sehr altbacken und der Teppich zeigte schon deutliche Gebrauchsspuren. Es gab einige Stellen mit einer älteren Staubschicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war um 8.30Uhr nicht mehr vollständig. Aber das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.
