Apartment and common areas were beautifully kept and exceptionally clean. The apartment and it's layout was very spacious even with the use of the sofa bed. Our only issue was with the shower. One was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The other took a lot of fiddling about with to get it to lukewarm. Other than that is was a great stay.

Very cute apartment. Beds comfy. Nice balcony. Wi-fi went out a lot. Check in was across the street so a little confusing. Friendly staff. They watched our luggage all day so we could check out and still tour Porto.

What bang for your buck!! We stayed in a spacious and beautiful two bedroom two bath apartment, which was more than we needed, and SO affordable. Check-in was very easy even after hours, and Ana across the street in the office is so sweet and helpful! We had a great time staying here, just a short walk from the water front, main shopping district and the main train terminal. We felt safe walking around at night and there are lots of great food options just up the street. We had such a great time!

This was a 3 level in this apartment and we live in the 3rd floor. There’s no elevator since this is an old building that were converted into. You would have to walk up and down the stairs for your daily workout. There’s a large living/dinning room and 2 bedroom with 2 full bathrooms. A long balcony connected to the whole apartment. It was beautiful. Since is located on the center of all the attractions that we can walk to get there. There’s a laundry store next to the apartment which is a pro. The con is at night the lighting in the apartment is terrible dark. It would be best if they have a better lighting system.

Everything was comfortable in this apartment and the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to have luggage storage since we go to Porto quite early in the day. I just wish there were a few more brighter lights in the apartment we booked, but overall we would definitely book again on our next trip to Porto.

There was so much space in this 2 story unit with a private balcony and garden. The beds were comfortable and there are 1.5 baths. It is walking distance to everywhere. The train station is a 5 minute walk. The tour buses are around the corner. Very good value!

The apartment was lovely and well appointed. What I did not like was that there was no lift and being on the top and getting up there with luggage is no joke!

Excellent location, staff was very nice and helpful. However, the property is little rundown. There were ants all over the apartment, even on the bed. No elevator- so be ready to climb if your apartment is on higher floor. No dishwasher- but staff cleaned the dishes. . Breakfast is boxed.

Beautiful property in a great location. Spacious and accommodated 6 of us well. It has 2 bathrooms which is a plus. I let the property manager know about several items that need to be fixed. She was not aware of these things and seemed as if she was going to take care of it right away.

absolutely loved the lay out with the beautiful traditional tiles and stunning wooden floors. the garden was a oasis of green and tranquility. loved the upstairs and downstairs seating areas with the gorgeous doors leading out. the kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfy, the aircon was a fantastic plus. the receptionist who checked us in was so lovely and friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Overall a good spot but had some issues.
Aparthotel Oporto Batalha was for the most part fine - had everything we needed, good neighborhood, quiet, and while it wasn't the fanciest, it mostly served our needs. There were two issues encountered - one is that we weren't able to access our room until nearly 90 minutes after the check in window opened. We were told it would be "just another X minutes" which would then drag on and on. For just getting in on a red-eye, this really got old and we just wanted to see our room and decompress. The property manager was apologetic and offered us late check out in recompense, but that was not a selling point as our departure was planned for early morning. The other issue was the beds - The mattresses were quite uncomfortable and had very scratchy sheets (got rugburn on my elbow from tossing and turning). woke up sore and with neck cricks quite a bit. After 4 nights we were ready to move on.

We have a mixed review for this property. We arrived after the reception was closed and the provided code to enter the Aparthotel did not work. We walked down the street to another hotel and they were kind enough to call the emergency line. It turns out we received an expired code in our email. Ana did apologize - all good. These things happen. The apartment was well equipped. Breakfast delivered in the morning came in paper bag and consisted of 3 bread buns of sorts, yogurt, juice, pear, coffee pod, water, jam and butter etc. All fresh and good. The apartment suited our needs. Having 2 bathrooms was nice with one on the main floor and one downstairs where the 2 beds were located. The location was central and walkable. For all these reasons it’s a good place to stay except the issue we had leaving the apartment at 5:00 am on our last day. The front door leading outside had been tricky to open (and I had read about that in other reviews) but we had managed, except that morning. The small knob under the main door knob used to open the door just kept spinning around. I can’t tell you how stressed we were as we had a train to catch and our UBER was waiting outside. We finally got the door open but not without an extra UBER charge for the wait. The door issue is definitely a safety issue. What if there was a fire? All in all, this Aparthotel is nice, staff friendly, but for us, the safety issue that morning was too concerning for us to return.

The property had lots of space, well stocked, clean, and updated. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is unbeatable. 6-minute walk to funicular, tons of shopping and restaurants steps from your door. I would definitely rebook!
