Wohlfühlhotel in der Natur
Ruhig gelegenes ökologisches Komforthotel mit sehr grossen, modernen, eleganten Zimmern, guten Betten, Balkon mit Blick auf Meer und Heide und Sonnenuntergang, kleine saubere Strände in Gehdistanz. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Es hat ein einfaches, aber gutes Restaurant/Brasserie und ein teures Mehrgang-Gourmetrestaurant. Das Frühstück dürfte reichhaltiger sein, genügt aber vollauf. Wir haben den entspannten Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Zimmer mit Meerblick gehen nach Westen, bei starkem Sonnenschein bis 30 Grad im Zimmer, da es keinen Sonnenchutz gibt, also weder Jalousien noch Sonnenmarkisen. Auch andere Möglichkeiten des Sonnenschutzes waren nicht vorhanden.

I loved it -- and will dine there next time.
I was travelling alone and almost cried when I saw the view from my room -- the weather was perfect and the view was calming and beautiful. I would just suggest that a fan be provided since the setting sun shines in the rooms facing the gorgeous view. Also, the curtains don't block out the light as there is a tilted fit (visible in the photo of the room) blinds on the rooms would be useful to block out the light.

De belles randonnées côtières
Une vue magnifique sur la mer d'Iroise et la presqu’île de St Laurent. Idéal pour randonner à pieds sur la côte sauvage entre roche et dunes, moutons, lapins et chevaux goémoniers. Idèal pour découvrir le Conquet, la pointe St Mathieu, Portsaal, Porspoder et sa route touristique. L'hôtel est confortable et idéalement centré. Les PdJ sont gourmands, aux côté d'une table gastronomique. Et la palme revient au personnel souriant et aux petits soins. Un bon prétexte pour découvrir cette région superbe.

Très bon séjour et hôtel recommandé!
Notre séjour a été très agréable malgré la tempête qui a sevi la nuit (et qui faisait un boucan d’enfer). Nous avons particulièrement apprécié d’être accompagnés jusqu’à notre chambre, de nous voir proposer de nous aider avec nos bagages jusqu’à la voiture... La chambre (vue mer) était vraiment très bien (peignoirs, chaussons, produits Esteban, eau, petit salon, literie). Pour ce niveau de chambre, nous aurions apprécié une machine à café et non du café soluble. Aussi, nous aurions apprécié un petit déjeuner plus varié en « salé » avec plus de fromages ou même des œufs... et aussi un meilleur café. Les produits sucrés étaient excellents (far breton et crêpes). La situation géographique est vraiment privilégiée. La mention spéciale revient au personnel très accueillant.

Fresh Contemporary vibe
Fresh, contemporary vibe at seaside, and grazing sheep outside the door. Ample free parking. Very comfortable to stay in and have dinner in their dining room with anything one could wisht from the bar and a most delicious dinner, served with style. We'd love to return here again one day.

Nice view but at privacy cost
Great location, with nice view BUT small room, tiny bathroom and a huge balcony, unfortunately to share with for 4 others accommodations with no privacy including inside your room. However the restaurant rescues the overall ratings.

Je suis allée à Brest dans le cadre professionnel et j'en ai profité pour prolonger le séjour en allant au Château de Sable à Porspoder. Et j'en suis ravie ! Hôtel très agréable et un personnel très compétent. Et l'environnement est magnifique.

Two Nights in Brittany
We planned to spend our last two nights of our three week holiday in this hotel to round off in style. And in most ways it fulfilled all of our remits. The location, views and size and style of the room are all first class and lend themselves to a relaxing atmosphere. And yet we just felt this was at times a bit of a vaneer and that this was just all that was required. This was the 6th hotel of the holiday and the service was lacking any real care or empathy - and it is not a cheap stay after all. It was also galling to drive 500km and not be able to eat in the hotel in the evening on either night as it was booked. The other hotels had emailed and asked us in advance! Do note the village has some very reasonable places to eat though. Room was fab but the lights in the loo go off every 60 secs - very eco but but a real pain. We had to take the bulb out of the entrance light in the room as this came on in the night when going to the loo - little things but just so annoying. Overall it was a hotel that could very easily move from average/good to excellent but a little more thought is needed.

Joli hôtel en bordure de grève. Chambres calmes et confortables, personnel sympathique et accueillant. Écologique, il propose côté mer un accueil par des moutons noirs. Excellente table, même pour le menu unique en début de semaine. Y aller pour le calme, car Porspoder n'est pas ce qu'on peut appeler une station ... animée !

Hôtel de luxe sur un très beau site naturel.
Hôtel globalement très bien : incontestablement une adresse à retenir. Mais il y a quand même quelques petits détails à améliorer. Par exemple, je trouve le petit-déjeuner très en deçà de mes attentes : les produits sont de bonnes qualités, mais le choix n'est pas exceptionnel. Par exemple, il n'y a pas de possibilité de se faire un petit-déjeuner salé digne de ce nom : pas d'omelette, pas de bacon, ... La salle d'eau était également un peu décevante : rien d'exceptionnel et l'accès à la douche était d'un compliqué, avec ces 2 portes battantes qui s'ouvraient et se fermaient difficilement. A noter qu'il n'y avait pas de gel douche mis à disposition à notre arrivée et que, quand nous l'avons signalé à l'accueil, ça n'a pas été suivi d'effet immédiatement ... Enfin l'espace bien-être est très modeste : juste un jacuzzi et un sauna. L'accès est limité à un créneau de 30 minutes par nuit, qu'il faut réserver à l'avance. Pas de place à l'improvisation ... A noter qu'une fois le jacuzzi n'était pas accessible, parce que l'eau n'était pas de bonne qualité, et qu'une autre fois le jacuzzi a cessé de fonctionner au bout de 5 minutes ... Dommage ! Par contre, le restaurant gastronomique attenant est exceptionnellement bon !! Et le personnel est extrêmement serviable et professionnel.
