Was great. Staff was very friendly and it is a lovely family run property close to wineries but not walkable to much. They do have a kitchen you can use.

Beautiful cabins. Nicely renovated with everything new and fresh. Everything was lovely and clean. Lovely view from the patio. Felt very private like we were the only ones there. Staff were so friendly and the shared area was a great space, just wished we'd stayed longer in order to take advantage of it. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. It was so peaceful and the hosts and Maree and Marcus are absolutely lovely. Made you feel so welcome and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic place!
Mark and Marie are wonderful hosts! The location is excellent for exploring the Hunter Valley. The grounds are immaculate and room has everything you need. Onsite pool too. Highly recommended!

the staff are amazing it’s clean close to everything. The only thing there no internet and there wifi dose work. so if you need to work would recommend stay there but if you want to relax the perfect spot!!

Great old-fashioned gem in the heart of Pokolbin
Elfin Hill is nestled in a fabulous valley overlooking the countryside. All amenities available, including wifi (not stated in the room description) tea and coffee making, aircon, and a lovely continental breakfast (free if you book onsite, a small charge if through a booking site). Service is unobtrusive but friendly country-style.

Lovely stay with amazing surroundings and great location! It literally took less than 10 mins to drive to Pokolbin vineyards. Would’ve preferred if the lights in the room weren’t so dimmed. Overall, still recommend this place and would love to come back! :)

Pokolbin's Little Gem
We had a great stay at Elfin Hill. The room was super clean and the bed linen was of a high quality. The unit was well furnished and and the addition of a balcony to over look the valley was appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was ample. The manager was well acquainted with the local area and suggest places of interest to visit. Highly recommended.

Scenic location, outdoor balcony, guest pavilion for relaxing by the fire, friendly hosts. The only negative was the thin walls so noisy children and television in the next room easily heard.

Sadly Madeleine broke her leg the morning we were arriving so she organised her daughter to come and look after our check-in. She was lovely and friendly and even offered to dropp us off at Petersons Champagne House for our hot air balloon flight at 5.30am. The room was clean and tidy. The only thing I can complain about was the shower, it has no shower door so the water goes everywhere and makes the floor very wet. The place itself was very peaceful and in a handy location.

Room was spacious. Enjoyed the breakfasts. Property large. Maybe a microwave or some other cooking facility would have been good. BBQ available but not he time of year to be cooking outside - mid winter!

A unique layout of private rooms and common spaces overloooking the beautiful Hunter Valley. We had a truly wonderful time eating breakfast and sipping wine with newfound friends in the guest pavillion. Owners Marie and Mark have created a special place and they are friendly and generous hosts. Our stay at Elfin Hill was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had in our travels. We highly, highly recommend it!

There was an issue with our booking, but Madeline was fantastic is sorting it out. A continental breakfast was included with our stay which included freshly prepared fresh fruit and yoghurt drizzled with honey. Definitely a continental breakfast that was much much better than anticipated! We enjoyed the grounds and outlook, very relaxing. We are planing to return.

All the comforts of home
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Elfin Hill, Quiet and peaceful, lovely pool to swim in and the breakfast was full of home made delights. Great place to come back to after exploring the hunter valley. Highly recommend staying here.
