My friends and I stayed here and we had a great time! CONS: - no elevator - water takes a little while to get hot - pillows super firm (we had to beat them each night to help soften them) PROS: - this place is QUIET! - super walkable to go partying/dining - SAFE! Security posted outside

Great place for a couple of days.
Great staging area out of Playa del Carmen to go to Cozumel, Chichen Itza. Very convenient to all the touristy shops and eateries. A bit noisy at night sometimes since it is by a small mall. Great staff that wants to make sure your needs are met.

The property has no elevators, and they originally gave me a room in the third floor. This time I traveled with my two kids that are under five years old. After talking to them, they were able to accommodate me to the second floor, which was nice of them. Overall, if you’re going to travel to Cancun, December is the time to go. Thank God this place has air-conditioning because most of the time we spent it in our room. Also, one thing I wish they had was a mini refrigerator. But overall staff was nice. It was a quiet and clean hotel.

Aspira was delightful! What a sweet place, perfectly located near the pedestrian walkway, shops, cafes and the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Very centric. They make you wear a bracelet even though is not an all inclusive. Only one key is provided and is on the bracelet so that person needs to be letting others in the room. There is no elevator. No fridge or microwave in the room forcing you to be eating out your whole trip.

I wanted to love it.
I should have listened to other reviews and just booked somewhere else. To start the customer service is horrible, if you don’t like your job just don’t work there. Then I got charged a hundred US dollars more because I had an extra person, although I asked for double beds and had proof. The pictures are not what you actually get and the beach club part is literally a joke. Be prepared to pay extra for that part per person per day. Now the the actual rooms, the bed is hard, pillows are lumpy but the size is not bad and the balcony was very roomy, we did like that. The room had lots of nats flying around, don’t know what that’s about. The plus side to this hotel was that it was cheap for what we needed ( we were fully booked of excursions) until they bumped it a hundred bucks. Otherwise it’s not worth it at all. It was really close to Quinta Avenida if you like that sorta thing. I wish it had turned out great but they did leave a bad taste in my mouth, like literally, their water to shower or wash your hands was so gross almost worse than ocean water. While showering it’s impossible to not get a taste even if very minimal and it’s really bad. We brushed our teeth with water bottles.

Great stay close to everything
Hotel was pretty nice, very close to la quinta avenida next all the bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and beach clubs. Saff is super nice, they upgraded our room from a double to a quadruple for a very decent rate

It’s a great place for solo or couple. Service was great and everyone very communicative. I wish they would told us the pool was closed before booking but other than that everyone was perfect

Service was not good. They only had one or two house keepers which delayed us checking in and the pillows were rock hard, and shower leaked so much it left a puddle on the floor once you were done. The one bright side was that it was across the street from the mall and one street down from the Main Street where all the night life was and close to the beach although it was rocky and crowded.

Great hotel, bad restaurant next to them.
It was a great stay the place was nice and clean. At first the host at the front desk in the mornings was a little on the sour side. The after noon guy was excellent very helpful. The hotel provides 1 coupon for a margarita or beer, the restaurant I don't recommend at all they are very weird and make you feel awkward. I would defiantly won't go back to Legends restaurant.

NOT FOR YOUR ENEMIES
No hot water at least half the time. No water pressure to speak of. Mold in the bathroom ceiling. Rusted shower head. Toilet leaked. No washclothes so bring your own. You have to rent the lock to utilize your safe. Requested a mini fridge in both rooms and never received either one. I asked and was told "we don't have fridges". Next day I saw one being delivered to a guests room. Floors are black so even when they clean, you still have dirty black feet. Wifi is based out of the hotel across the street. It sucks in this hotel. (I'm guessing the hamster died and they haven't checked on it recently.) One pool and it's small. Pool bathroom stinks constantly.

Hotel was clean and blocks away from the beach. There is no free shuttle (it was broken), no phone in the room, we had to pay extra for a key to lock the safe as well as wifi which was not that great. Made it difficult to reach family back home to give updates.

Convenient location in the city
Beautiful hotel in the middle of Playa del Carmen. It is perfect if you are not going to spend a lot of time at the hotel since it was a cheaper hotel and did not offer a lot of amenities. This was perfect for us since during the day we went to the local nature parks and explored the city during my stay. The rooms had a modern feel and were very modern. The only downside was that the shower took a while to heat up.

Amabilidad del personal muy buena, la cercania con la 5ta avenida es fenomenal, lo que hace que no sea perfecto es que tienes que tener suerte para poder estacionar tu auto, ya que tienen solo 4 cupos fuera dle hotel y si no tendrias aue dejarlo fuera en la calle arriesgandote a que lo golpeen o peor aun le hagan algo ( deberian tener alguna asociacion con 5ta alegria para que uno como huesped pueda tener algun descuento o algo significativo para dejar el coche ahi), otra cosa es aue no tiene elevador, asi que tus maletas subiran en tu espalda. A la llegada el hotel se siente caliente oues en el lobby del hotel no tienen aire acondicionado y eso te da una primera impresion no agradable , el resto bien

Sugerencia: el agua para bañarse es salada y es incómodo. La alberca tiene demasiado cloro. Los sillones de la recepción muy incomodos.

Es de suma importancia para nosotros las reseñas y puntuaciones que nuestros huéspedes nos obsequian, porque es el medio en el que detectamos las mejoras en las distintas actividades que conforman el hotel y de igual manera, reforzar con las áreas que se realicen las actividades de forma correcta.Clarificar el tema del agua que maneja el hotel, con la biosfera de la Riviera Maya es delicada y valiosa, en Tukan Hotels estamos comprometidoscon su cuidado y es por eso que el agua de nuestros baños proviene de grutas naturales para evitar el uso de quimicos que arriesguen nuestro hogar, esto no representa ningun riesgo para el cuerpo humano. Lamentamos que se haya llevado una mala impresión y le extendemos una disculpa por todos los incidentes ocurridos durante su estancia. Esperando se encuentre bien, le deseamos que pase un extraordinario día. Aspira Hotel Playa del Carmen.

Gran opción para hospedarse en Playa del Carmen, queda centrico a prácticamente todo lo que necesitas. El sitio de encuentro para los Tours de Gpo Xcaret en Plaza Las Perlas esta a 4min caminando (2 cuadras aprox) y la central Turistica de ADO a 10 min aprox. Hay un MEGA Soriana igual a 5min caminando, haciéndolo super conveniente para las compras de ultimo minuto. Las habitaciones son muy comodas, y muy amplias. La alberca es chica pero realmente no necesitas más. ¡Repetiremos la experiencia definitivamente!
