A seventh splendid stay
If it wouldn't be good to great, we would not have returned for a 7th time in 6 years. Nam Ngi is 1st location - location -location A Coral Peninsula is what it is. You go into the water and see great maritime live at your feet. Second is the service. Albeit not run by an international banner, the staff is punctual and pro. Third is is the great food at the Tree house, with a stunning seating at the water front on the new built terrace. Both the rooms and villa's offer a great quality. only the choice of firmer pillow menu would be a plus. The area's of further improvement (to remain our #1 spot on PQ) Cleanness into the details - though not a big deal (some stains in the shower - just need an extra polish) But.... the beach on the Rock could get some more attention. Some seats and tables were put , but to make it a 6 star experience, I would just suggest to use the swim guard as a guardian to clean the area a bit more frequent I truly love this resort, but it is my nature to suggest perfection as to let it be the Crown of your stay on PQ and a memory you carry along as we always do See you soon again Nam Nghi !

Amazing hotel
This hotel is amazing. The villas are super nice but not all of them have the same views. Some are blocked by trees so you might want to try to clarify if you can have a room with a clear view. There isn't much near the resort, but they do have a shuttle to town and the ability to rent scooters if you are brave.

Great place to stay, clean room, beautiful swimming pool and beach. Staff were very nice and friendly. On the last day at the resort, we went to Rock Island and due to the weather, we had to stay in the island wait for 1 hour for the boat. We thought we would miss the shuttle bus to Duong Dong but the staff did everything (luggage transfer, buggy pickup) so that we could make it on time. My wife even left the phone on the shuttle bus to Duong Dong. However, the staff were very helpful and she got her phone in a couple of hours. We will definitely come back to Nam Nghi one day!

A very nice resort with a beautiful private island and beach. Excellent breakfast and pro-active and friendly staff. Unluckily our room was very noisy (we could here everything from the level above and also the next room as well as from the corridor. There was no bar open longer than 22h00 and there is basically nothing in the surroundings.

Amazing place
Amazing place! Very nature's resort and all the staff is very attentive and friendly. The private pier and beach are beautiful, snorkeling and kayaking very good, the hotel provides equipment to make us convenient. The island bar is very atmospheric and the surroundings and atmosphere of the hotel are very good. Breakfast is very good in many kinds of food and it is delicious. 음식이 맛이 없어요.. 우리 기준으로 가격대가 높은건 아닌데, 한국에서 가격 조금 있는 가게 수준이에요. 그니까 베트남치고는 엄청 비싼건데.. ㅠ 절대 그 가격 대의 가게가 아님 ㅠㅠ 다른건 진짜 환상적이고.. 스노클링 꼭 하세요.. 락 아일랜드로 나가면 수심이 얕고, 수영장 앞바다랑 다르게 더 맑아요! 개조아.. 락아일랜드 선셋은 보긴 했는데.. 어차피 오션뷰라 방에서도 뷰가 똑같더라구요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Private island. Fine dining at the Treehouse restaurant. At the main hotel a secluded beach and excellent main pool makes for a relaxing stay. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do more to make your stay more enjoyable. Special mention the the Restaurant Manager for looking after us.

The showers tend to flood as the drains are not periodically cleaned, however, when we had a small problem at the start the staff was helpful to resolve it. In the Restaurant they charge for plain water, which should be free in such a hot humid area. Restaurant food was disappointing and the selection meagre, there is scope for improvement there.

We absolutely loved staying here - beautiful property in an incredible location. Staff were very helpful and professional across the board, it really was delightful. My only comment relates to the quality and consistency of meals in contrast with price, which is significant when in a fairly isolated area. I am more than happy to pay for quality, but it was not a match - particularly as restaurants are marketed as more fine dining (the tree house anyway). The property is under new management with the Hyatt as of this week, and separately I heard mention of food and island experience being a focus for the future. Hopefully that happens and rates don’t go up to much with it... All in all - amazing

idyllic and relaxing stay amidst nature and away from the gritty (i.e., backpacker-y) touristy areas. would highly recommend it as it likely will not stay as low-key as it is given that the hotel's parent company entered into a partnership agreement with hilton group just a few weeks ago. would be ace if there were a few more food options at the hotel.

The hotel is in a very quiet area. The beach is nice and clean, although it is very rocky. There are a lot of fish. Very eco-friendly. The room is large and well designed. The shower is a little odd, since it just dumps water on you and splashes everywhere.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay 3-nights stay at the property, though monsoon rain sometimes got in the way to enjoy whole day activities. Rock island bar is a "rock" to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze, especially the sunset. The only thing we hope the hotel could have done better is to recommend more tourist friendly restaurant and stood by the guest against the taxi company who left us at the restaurant without informing us, even after agreeing to waiting charge. So, we are "forced" to rent the restaurant van to take us back to the hotel at the higher charges. Alternatively, the hotel could have sent their car fleet to take us back.

Nice resort for families and/or couples
I impressed when arriving to Phu Quoc airport early morning, and Nam Nghi shuttle was already waiting to pick me up. It's long drive to the resort, but the driver was very helpful to give the overview information of the island and the resort. Check in was flexible with helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was also delicious with no extra charge :-) since it's included in the room rate. The shuttle bus is also scheduled twice daily (am and pm) to the town/market, but I wish whether it could extend more daily bus services. The resort also has its small place called Rock Bar island where you can swim, enjoy sunset and have cocktails with friends and/or families. The facility is very clean and nice view from the rooms and/or swimming pool. I notice that there's ice cream service at the swimming pool but I didn't get it :-( even thought lady staff saw us! I'm not sure whether it requires to pre-order or/and only for foreigners but I didn't asked anyhow. Resort also has its own restaurant but it's pricey and not too many options. I talked to the guest from Netherlands, and his opinion is same as I am. Overall, i'm very pleased with Nam Nghi staff, services/facility and would give a 5/5 to the resort regardless some negatives above. For sure, I definitely will return to the resort for my next trip.

Hotel and grounds are stunning. The quality of the finishes are really good. But, the bathroom doesn’t function well. There is no shower screen so the whole bathroom gets flooded after a shower and there’s not much room to put your stuff. The staff are lovely but they don’t speak the best English and they seem very inexperienced for a 5* Resort. Also the hotel lacks any vibe whatsoever, even for someone looking for peace and quiet. I think the hotel is new and needs to figure out what it is but it has a lot of potential.

Fantastic Location by the sea!
We really enjoyed our stay there with our two teenage boys. The sea is all around the hotel, it has private access to sandy as well as rocky/coral areas which are covered with fish. The location is pristine, quiet, and the staff very friendly. The rooms very comfortable. The sunset bar on the private island is really a highlight with its breathtaking location and views! The only small downside was the food was a little pricey for its value, limited choice, knowing that you really have no other options but to eat at the hotel unless you take a taxi or van for 30min to go to the nearest town. Overall a memorable stay!

The hotel has a very nice new manager from Holland I gave her some feedback she will correct things I think. The morning breakfast is excellent, the chef is excellent the rooms (bungalow we stayed in next to see) are very nice. We had problems with electronic keys two consecutive nights to get in, electricity went out once witch was fixed for the second request. Personal is extremely polite but very few vietnamese speak fluent english . Walking toward the bungalows have steps with invisible stair-steps easy to fall after dark.

Great Getaway from Busy City Life
Perfect getaway for nature and beach loving enthusiasts. Hotel is on beachfront of beautiful island where you can swim on the beautiful pool or the beach. You can kayak around the island and enjoy watching beautiful sunset. I also enjoy watching the ocean from the bathtub. You can also bicycle around the hotel and going into the forest nearby. The rock bar is on the adjacent island is great for fun, beverages, and ocean breeze. The only negative thing is hotel is far from town but they provide shuttle to and from the night market twice a day. I will come back to this place next time I visit Phu Quoc.

An amazing experience!
If you want to experience nature but yet has all the creature comfort of a luxury resort this is the place. The hotel private beach is clean and is surrounded by corals. If you like to snorkel, it is an amazing experience here. The water is crystal clear and there are plenty of sea life to look at. The amazing thing about the Nam Nghi is that you can jump into the private beach, swim around to look at fish and sea life, and then get out and have a cocktail waiting for you. The resort also has a private island that you can visit which our toddler really enjoys. The room we are in is very nice and spacious. We have been here for 5 days and only have eaten at the resort. We are satisfy with the food. The only complaint that we have is some of the staff need a little bit more training especially for a luxury resort. The resort is fairly new so perhaps some of them need more experience. The personal butler that the resort assigned to our room, however, is excellent and was able to help us get such things such as diapers and medicine for our infant when we ran out. Without her things would be a little bit more difficult. Overall if you are looking for a luxury resort that is surrounded by nature and a beautiful beach we highly recommend this resort.

Чудесное и гостеприимное место!
Замечательный отель. Находится от центра далеко 30 мин езды, но есть бесплатный трансфер 2 раза в день в центр города и в аэропорт. Персонал внимательный и отзывчивый. Завтрак просто восхитительный - есть соленая рыбка белая и красная, сыры, колбаска и ветчина очень хорошего качества. Завтрак разнообразный и вкусный. Есть бар на отдельном острове со стеклянным полом. Итальянский ресторан с замечательной кухней. Брали номер с видом на океан Ванна из камня с окнами до пола и видом на океан.Все очень понравилось. Но 2 дня нам не хватило .

En nydelig og avslappende perle
Hotellet ligger et stykke unna byen, men er helt nydelig om du ønsker en avslappende ferie. Å ta båten ut til den lille øya, var min beste opplevelse. Lite, rolig, idyllisk og noe av det flotteste jeg har opplevd. Vi badet og snorklet her ute. Inne ved hotellet lå bassenget ved stranden, og du kunne få servering på solsengen. Tok en behandling på SPAet og fikk en av de beste massasjene jeg har fått av Lily. Vil gjerne tilbake til dette stedet. PS det bygges mye i området, så snart vil det være både shopping og restaurant muligheter i nærheten
