Fantastic little self contained flat. Plenty of parking has own laundry and courtyard with BBQ. Very comfortable. Will be back

If I could give it 6 STARS I would.
The photos do not do this property justice. The overall ambiance, quality and privacy that this accommodation provides, should not be underestimated. The hosts were respectful and friendly and truly had thought of every need you may desire. It is truly a beautiful Mediterranean slice of paradise in Quinns Rocks. The bed was super comfortable also, so we had amazing night sleeps. The location to the beach was perfect for morning or evening walks. The kitchen was super equipped with everything you may need for a romantic dinner for two. Thank you for such a wonderful week. Again, I can't recommend this place highly enough, and our next stay in Perth (north of Perth) will absolutely be at this property.

A perfect place to stay.
What a lovely time we've had, spending a couple of weeks at this aptly named 'little jewel'! The wonderfully decorated hacienda styled accommodation was very welcoming, very clean and very private. The furnishings were true to style and the masses of creative mosaics just added to the atmosphere. Brenda is a great hostess and looked after our needs - giving us extra towels when unexpected heavy rain drenched ours as they were airing on the rack outside! We appreciated the generous bottle of milk and 2 bottles of water, in the fridge, and the tea and coffee on hand - even salt and oil should one decide to use the BBQ. For us it was wonderful as it was just a few paces from our daughter's, who we had come from NZ to see - it couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you Brenda and Dave - we'll certainly be back if our daughter and family continue to live in Quinn's Rocks, Perth.

A unique experience within the reach of Perth. Really nice and most comfortable. Well set up... The shower is fantastic!. The only "down side" is that the bed is very firm. Would suit many, but for me (that has quite a firm bed at home) this one was a step up. All in all, I would recommend a stay.....

Totally Relaxing
We loved this property from the moment we arrived. We loved the ambience, the lovely gardens and mosaics were beautiful and we felt at home. The accomodion was clean, easy to stay in and relaxing and the hosts were responsive, freindly and unobtrusive. We will be back thankyou.

Gorgeous Hideaway
Loved it, quiet and peaceful, close to the beach, such a well loved place to stay, lots of care taken to add beautiful detail and colour around the property. highly recommend, and would definitely stay again

Beautiful Villa
Me and my wife absolutely loved this place. It has everything one would need for an extended stay near the beach. We sat on the patio for every meal and it was so calm and peaceful. Will go back

A gem true to its name
A beautifully maintained warm and bright retreat. Close to the beach and nearby cafes and coastal walks. I can highly recommend for anyone looking for holiday accommodation on the coast.

Home From Home
Brenda was there to greet us and a warm welcome too. This property has been furnished with care and quality. Everything you could possibly need and a very comfortable bed to boot. Great location near the beach and frequent public transport at the end of the road. We stayed for 11 nights and could have stayed longer

Thank you Ian for your very positive review. The bus transport at the end of our road is very good and quickly connects to the train system, so very easy access to Perth, Fremantle etc. The beach and local cafes are a short walk away, and if not feeling energetic, the balcony and patio are good places to relax. Very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay Ian and hopefully we will see you back again sometime.

Retreat!
We found it the relaxing getaway that we were looking for. the unit itself is spacious, clean and homely. We loved both the balcony and the outdoor terrace at the back of the property. At first we were disappointed we were not closer to the sea as we are an older couple but on exploring found it a short drive away. Great walking beaches, great dog beach and we also visited the near by Chili festival that was a surprise. If we had the time we would have stayed a week as it was so comfy. Shops all a short distance away.

A totally restful stay in the perfect mini-hacienda
I really liked this property and all my visiting family members remarked how beautiful it was - admiring the lay out of the guest accommodation, the patio, and the gardens. The mediterranean feel is wonderfully captured. It had all the things a single guest or couple might need. The only thing that wasn't working was the extractor fan above the stove. I appreciated that Brenda was accessible if need be, but otherwise it's very private, while also offering a sense of not being isolated and anonymous (unlike a hotel). Quinns Rocks is a bit far out for some Perth people, but the bus and train connections are very easy to use. Being able to swim in the Indian Ocean, hot foot it to the local fish and chip shop and cafe, and just walking along the coast line reminded me of so many things about Perth suburbs that the "ex-sandgroper" in me often misses. Highly recommend staying here and would do so again. Thank you!

Thank you Greta for your lovely review. Sorry to hear you were having problems with the extractor fan above the stove. It was working you just needed to pull the handle towards you to turn it on. I have since posted a note advising future guests on how to operate it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Beach holiday still in the City
Little Jewell was wonderfully clean, lovely in décor. Felt like a village villa in south of Spain. Beach within in minimal walking distance. Interesting cafes and shops close by. Only a stone's throw from major freeway, yet the worst noise is sea breezes rattling blinds. Still you can get to most Perth tourist attractions. Also chance to park your car at nearby train station and use public transport. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and explore northern coast more. Sunset markets at nearby Burns Beach best ever!

The Twilight markets at Burns Beach has become a favourite among the locals and those wanting to experience the international street food. A lovely spot to eat and enjoy our beautiful Perth sunsets.
