Perfect location
This property is in a great location to access Fremantle hospital (just across the road) or the cafe strip (just down the road) and the markets and restaurants. Being on the sixth floor it boasts a great view. One bedroom, small and concise. Ideal for two.

Nice little unit for a getaway the only fault The towels were like sandpaper and the frypan It’s old and everything sticks to it even with lots of oil would definitely go back central to most Places

Hi Hilton, I do not know why you expected a resort ! At no stage is there mention of such. The description clearly says apartment.

Bigger and nicer than the images show
It was a lovely place, quiet apartment block, the apartment was bigger than the images show. Only issue was the entry directions on stayz arent accurate, but the owner answered his phone and helped us very quickly so it wasn't a big issue.

Perfect stay(z)
After an extremely long travel day I was very happy to arrive at the unit and relax with a cup of tea and enjoy the view. The unit is comfortable, had everything I needed, in a great location and has an elevator. Michael and Kaye are excellent hosts.

I dont know what you call clean Jacqui , we take great pride in the cleanliness of our apartment , We regularly are awarded five out of five on the other rental platforms.. We will continue with our very high standard of cleaning.

Compact comfortable unit with lovely views, great secure parking and such an excellent location. Few minutes walk to shops, cafes, cinema, ocean. Michael has been a brilliant host, flexible and easy communication.

Awesome location
Compact unit with views of Fremantle Harbour. Central to restaurants, cafes, markets and public transport. A short stroll to the beach. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quick getaway with plenty of action.

Neat and simple
I enjoyed my stay in this neat, simple flat. Access was straightforward (follow instructions) with plenty of parking. The flat is small but perfectly functional. The bed was comfy - quite firm and bathroom neat and tidy. It’s well placed with an easy walk into the town centre. A little bit of traffic noise in the late afternoon however it quietens right down quickly. The view from the bedroom window and the small balcony are lovely.

Fremantle Dolphin Retreat
Lovely little unit in a great location in Fremantle. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Great to have parking in Freo! Always lots of spaces. I would stay again next time I'm in Freo now that I understand how to get in. Took a while to find the security box to get the key (in the dark) and once in the car park could not find the lift. Another resident told me I had to go up about 8 stairs to the lift (which I had not noticed) after I had spent 10 minutes wandering around the ground level! Loved my stay there. Close to the Esplanade, prison etc

This property is fine, albeit barely large enough for a couple. We cleaned and polished and mopped floors and stripped the bed and folded blanket on departure. A positive acknowledgement would have been nice. However, all considered, the location is good, near beach and park.

Great location
The apartment is in a great location being just minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants. It is well equipped and comfortable with great views towards the sea. The accommodation is in a fairly large apartment block so some sounds from neighbours can be heard and the close proximity to the railway line could be a problem to light sleepers as the train goes through occasionally at night. We really enjoyed our stay in Fremantle.

A week in Fremantle
We found the Unit to be a pleasant surprise, It was compact and very well equipped and extremely comfortable for 2 people. It was great sitting out on the balcony with a cup of coffee overlooking the Harbour mouth / Ferris wheel etc. The unit is only a short walk to the start of Fremantle and a free bus is at the end of the Street. You can survive here without a car. I would recommend staying here to anybody as it is very good value for money and suited for travellers.

Very comfortabe and enjoyable stay except for the lift not working
Very difficult to climb up and down six flights of stairs carrying luggage. After speaking to several residents, apparently this lift has been out of service for several months or more. Not Good!! Otherwise extremely happy regarding this two day stay in this accomodation, and would consider staying again after the lift has been eventually repaired and working as it should be for accomodation in this the sixth floor level unit.

Hi Karen and Dennis, Yes it certainly is a nuisance having to use the stairs. As I explained in my email, the lift was slated to be in service on 14 October. Now the date is 14 November. I can only apologise for the situation. Regards Michael

This flat is basic but has all that you need. It is in walking distance of everything that you might like to visit during a stay in Fremantle. I especially enjoyed the walk along the waterfront to East Fremantle, stopping at points of interest along the way.The owner was very helpful and there is parking on site.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Retreat. Michael, the proprietor, was friendly and very helpful in recommending eateries. We were in easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, the waterfront, ferries, railway station and free CAT bus service. It was ideal accommodation with spectacular ocean views and a very comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again.
