Perfect Pet-Friendly Getaway

We had an amazing stay! Our dog had the best time exploring the bush walks and swimming in the pool. It was wonderful to relax and be surrounded by nature, with plenty of birds and kangaroos to spot. The studio was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly escape!

A perfect little escape with our pup šŸ¶šŸ’›

We had the most beautiful two-night stay at Mount Olive Studio with our Dalmatian, Leslie. The studio has everything you needā€”super modern, comfy, and thoughtfully designedā€”but the real magic is outside. We loved wandering the property, going on bush walks, and cooling off in the pool in the afternoon. We recently lost our older dog, Lou Lou, so this little getaway was exactly what we needed, space to slow down, do nothing, and just be together. Itā€™s such a rare and special thing to enjoy a place this lovely with your dog. Weā€™re so grateful.

Ah, the serenity

What a lovely spot, so glad we found it! We hate going away without our fur babies so was so lovely to find a venue where dogs are fully accommodated for and safe. Beautifully Peaceful

We arrived on a Monday afternoon. From the moment we walked upstairs to our Studio stay, it was beautiful. Our dog, Gypsy, absolutely loved it. She was swimming and walking every day. The grounds are gorgeous, and it reminds me of Tuscany. It felt like we were in an Italian Villa in Italy. Thank you to Frank and Junko for an amazing place to stay. Next time we will stay in the Wagon. We will be back...

10/10 pawfect holiday!

We stayed in the studio for 2 nights and it was the perfect staycation destination! You wouldnā€™t think we are just out of the city. Having 2 German shepherds we struggle to find pet friendly accomodation but Junko was so lovely to them and we absolutely loved our stay and so did our 2 fur kids! We hope to visit again and try the wagon next!

Beautiful .

We had a beautiful relaxing stay , the rain only enhanced our stay as the natural pools were full and everything was lush and green . The owners are extremely respectful of your privacy and attentive to check how everything was or if you needed anything. The studio is comfortable and very clean and the shower is amazing. We will definitely be back .

Peaceful getaway

Mountolive studio is a lovely, peaceful escape in the hills and not too far away from Perth. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of walking opportunities and a nice pool. My fur baby loved all the new smells and areas to run. Itā€™s just delightful and we will go back.

We will be back

We only stayed two nights and we are from 40 mins down the road but it felt like a world away! We loved having our dog everywhere with us, sheā€™s reactive so it was peace of mind having the freedom for her to roam around. We played tennis, enjoyed bush walks and just soaked up the nature from the comfort of the couches. Planning when we can go back shortly!

Lovely peaceful getaway.

Stayed for my partners birthday with our two dogs. Property is cosy with beautiful surroundings. Sunsets and sunrise visible. We loved having the stove going while cuddling up in the couch. Bed really comfy and shower was lovely too. Really nice to have somewhere not to far to drive from the city.

Perfect Staycation

We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Mount Olive Studio. The studio was the cutest and cosiest base camp for our exploration around the surrounding bush land, tracks and pubs. The fact that it is dog friendly make it all the more better. Junko was fantastic to deal with and we are so grateful for her and her partner sharing their beautiful space. Canā€™t wait to be back!!

Bliss in the Hills

Was the perfect getaway with our 2 doggos! Relaxing in the beautiful surrounds, going for walks on the property, playing tennis and shooting some hoops, having a dip in the pool and finishing it off with outdoor massage under the trees. Pure bliss!

Amazing

Absolutely stunning property. We stayed with our 2 dogs and one being reactive to other dogs we were able to feel at ease without having to worry about running into other pets and she could be free to explore. The studio itself is also a very cosy place to stay!! Will definitely be back.

Amazing!!

What a special place to spend some quality time with my family. The cottage is gorgeous and has everything u could possibly need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. My furbaby had the best time roaming free, sniffing all the new smells. Listening to the beautiful birds and water flowing in the creek was incredible. Junko and Frank ensured our stay was the best it could be. We canā€™t wait to return for another stay soon.

A peaceful place to stay with manā€™s best friend.

What a lovely break at a lovely little place with my best friend :) Millie and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The studio was beautiful and surrounded by beautiful bush land and gardens. Having the secure areas for dogs was just really great and I felt safe letting Millie run around. Nothing was too much trouble for Junko and I appreciate all the hard work that goes into running a unique accommodation experience. Would love to have the chance to stay again. Thank you :)

Rescue Hound Paradise

Finding a secure, quiet and pleasantly distracting home away from home was such a happy find. I have a large breed rescue that doesn't have the greatest recall so having the large enclosed area attached to the studio was a godsend. Only unfortunate experience was my hounds unhappiness with the resident possums family (she thought they were cats) but I loved watching them watching me šŸ˜‚. The pool area is also amazing and my family had a great time jumping off the rocks. Already planning our next stay for the winter months!

Mount Olive Studio is a place you can stay and relax, a very peaceful and quiet place. My husband and myself enjoyed our staycation here especially our 2 doggo, they love and enjoy roaming around and playing outside the backyarrd.

The place is not too far from where we live,only The place is 25 mins drive from our house. We check in late becsuse of work. Frank and Junko was very helpful. The studio was stunning with huge window so you can see the tees outside. I love the fireplace to keep me warm, clean and cozy room to relax and unwind. Definitely will comeback again. We enjoyed our stay here

Dog friendly getaway in the Perth Hills

It is rare to find such a gem. Mountolive Studio is a welcoming, comfortable, completely dog friendly accommodation (most places have a list of restrictions even if they say they are dog friendly - dogs can go here, can't do this/that etc.) that is also a beautiful, well-appointed place for people. It was so relaxing to be surrounded by, and be able to see, bush and trees from everywhere within the studio but to also be within easy access to coffee shops, wineries etc. Thank you for sharing your property, and love of dogs, with us.

A fantastic tree change getaway for busy city slickers

Who says you need to plan a family holiday mths/yrs in advance? This is a wonderful tree change getaway for busy Perth localsā€¦drop everything, pack an overnight bag, runners on, pick up your doggie šŸ¶ and letā€™s GO! We had the best time recently at the studio. The mixture of relaxation, bush walks and bird calls met with modern comforts of Netflix access, tennis court/pool & supplied essentials allowed us to enjoy our stay fuss free and truly savour this space! Thoroughly recommend this place for a short term ā€œunplug from the daily grindā€ā€¦itā€™s just what the (tree) doctor ordered!
