Fabulous!
What a gem of a place! Thank you Frances for making the Blue Ttiangle available for us to enjoy. Plenty of things to do from biking, hiking, kayaking to just relaxing and reading all the magazines and books. Great cd collection as well!

Lovely clean beach house, with stunning views of Kapiti Island
We loved our stay at the Blue Triangle. The house is somewhat dated, but has everything you need for a holiday at the beach. Easy access to the beach itself, great views, a big garden, and a good sized kitchen. The bathroom is quite small, and the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep. The bunk room is tight with two sets of bunks. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and many more a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again.

Yes it is essential to look at the photo of the stairs before booking. The house really doesn't suit elderly people because of the stairs.

Perfect location
We were looking for a short relaxing break by the sea. The Blue Triangle ticked all the boxes with a stunning view of Kapiti Island at sunset from the garden, the dining room and the bedroom.

Gorgeous views
This is a wonderful place to stay. Stunning views over the Tasman Sea towards Kapiti Island. Sunsets ✅ Clean, spacious and well appointed. The stairs to the bedroom/lounge upstairs need considerable care. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay. Friendly and helpful host.

Thanks Evelyn- great you enjoyed your stay. Yes, the wooden stairs are definitely a little tricky. Going up is easy but coming down it is a matter of descending slowly and holding the vertical railings. Very important to always wear shoes or slippers as socks on wooden stairs are a recipe for disaster.

Awesome beach escape!
Ideal location for walks on the beach or for sitting relaxing watching the sunset. The house was very well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. And the bed is the comfortable ever encountered away from home!! The owner was awesome to deal with - thank you Frances for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

From the moment we arrived we felt very relaxed. The view was wonderful and very close to the beach. Well located between Raumati and Paraparaumu shops. Very well equipped bach. Would definitely recommend.

We had a relaxing stay at the place. The property was clean and especially the upstairs was gorgeous with a great ocean view. Our kids really enjoyed with board games, barbecue, trampoline. We will come back for sure!

We enjoyed our visit, despite NZ experiencing unusually bad weather that weekend. Arrangements and access were easy. We were offered early entry, which didn't fit our plans, but was a nice gesture. The property was clean and had everything required, including wifi, a bunch of magazines and a trampoline for our girls. There's two sets of bunks, so our two kids could choose top or bottom. The only downside was not being able to walk on the beach as the tide was always up to the land. Great views from upstairs. Thanks for having us.

Gorgeous iconic kiwi beach house with stunning sea views
We loved our stay at this sunny and cosy beach house. Beautifully decorated, exceptionally comfortable and located almost right on the beach. Stunning views of Kapiti Island and wonderful evening sunsets. First visit to Raumati Beach and what a find.. great cafes and restuarants in the neighbourhood - Sunday Cantina in Raumati Beach South worth a visit! Thank you Frances - we will definitely be back without the children next time. Highly recommend

Lovely and peaceful place to relax.

We arrived to a very clean house, clear instructions were left on the kitchen table, and a bottle of wine with a welcome note (that was a kind gesture). Great Getaway
The house is charming and has everything you need for a quiet getaway. We stayed for three nights and found the house comfortable. The whole process was simple and stress free. Frances is a wonderful communicator and everything is clearly laid out. Plenty of amenities nearby and a very short walk to the beach for beautiful sunset strolls. Would highly recommend.

Lovely sunny bach by the beach
We stayed 7 nights recently, couple with two young children and grandma. The place has absolutely everything you need, from kayaks and bikes to boardgames to kitchen appliances. With strong northerlies, the outdoor area was exposed, but well sheltered from the southerlies and straight westerlies. The beds are firm, there’s a great choixe of pillows. House linen was good quality. Great space for young kids, although the curtains aren’t blackouts so the light kept us all awake... The neighbourhood is very calm and quiet, although a neighbor’s dog came onto the property a few times. It’s exactly midway between Raumati Beach and Paraparaumu beach (about 20-30 minutes walk), when the tide was high you couldn’t walk to Raumati on the beach, but the roadside walk was totally fine. Awesome parks for our 3 year old (and up to 7 I’d say) in both villages. I’d definitely recommend this to a couple with young kids - but without the grandma ;-) especially if the kidswill keep everyone awake at night because of the light XD !

Yes the bathroom is crazy small but it is a 1960's bach and we just can't figure out how to extend the bathroom. Location and views are everything and that's why the bach is popular. Xmas and New Year are the moss expensive times and many thanks for your 2 night stay.

Great place to relax and wake up to an amazing view of the waves, Kapiti island and long stretch of sandy beach. Our kids loved the trampoline and we all enjoyed the proximity to the beach for an evening walk or boogie board before sunset. Thanks for your hospitality Frances. We would recommend a stay here.

The Blue Triangle is a great little bach with amazing views of Kapiti Island. It had everything we needed (including a lovely deep bath tub!) and only a short walk to the shops. Frances was very friendly and helpful and provided us with plenty of information about our stay. We had a very cozy, relaxing few days.
