Excellent stay would highly recommend

Excellent communication, welcome, service and onward information. Paul could not do enough to make my stay enjoyable, was curteous and very knowledgeable about the area. The facility is ideally located, well presented and extremely comfortable with every amenity you could need.

Paul was a terrific host. Very helpful, easy to communicate with. Headington is a great location to explore Oxford, and if you are a fan of Lewis and Tolkien, it is the suburb that they both lived in. Very nice to have a place to park the car while we went in to explore Oxford (in particular Magdalen College)

I strongly recommend this excellent guest house. The location was ideal for me, near an Oxford Tube stop and opposite the Brookes University campus. The room was just about perfect: clean, comfortable, quiet and in excellent condition. The manager was in touch with me in advance regarding the amenities I desired upon arrival, and my wishes were scrupulously taken into account. There are very good cafés within easy walking distance, so I had no trouble getting breakfast every morning. I had a very pleasant stay and I would definitely consider staying there again.

When you first walk in the front door you are greeted with a beautiful aroma that makes you feel wonderful. The hotel is clean, quaint, modern, warm and inviting; you don’t feel like you’re in an echoing museum like most modern hotels. Ember Locke was spectacular from the staff to the bathrooms! If I ever go back to London this is where I’m staying every time. As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe. I had a room with a kitchenette which was perfect. The bathroom and shower were spacious and everything worked as it should. The cafe seating and outdoor seating was beyond compare. Thank you Ember Locke for a fantastic experience!

However, the facilities not commiserate with the cost for a night. really uncomfortable bed to sleep in and toilet not flushing. not an experience I am proud of. In all fairness, the host was kind enough to offer me parking space. if the bed and mattress can be changed with new bedsheet and most importantly toilet working well, then I may recommend

Paul, the host, is extremely kind and very helpful. The bed is comfortable...I slept like a log. The room and ensuite bathroom are clean and modern. I enjoyed the views outside the windows. Sandfield is close to many conveniences. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Studentbesøk i Oxford

Sandfield ligger fint til ved Headington, nær Brooks universitetet. Flere spisesteder i gåavstand, og enkelt å kjøre bil/buss hit. Rommet var stort, rent og har alt man trenger.
