I am the event coordinator for our management team for annual conventions. Here at work, up until this annual event in Orlando, I have booked with the preferred hotel of choice from the shows coordinators. I, myself an avid vacation renter form VRBO, HomeAway, etc., took it on myself to look into private rentals for the team. With the location of this unit, with all the amenities and proximity to or OCCC this unit was a perfect fit. I wanted it to be comfortable, a place they could come back to and talk over sales strategies or practice sales demonstrations with each other as a group in a private environment. Additionally, knowing our VP is an early riser and like to get in a little workout before his days starts, the gym amenity was just an added bonus. After doing the comparison between a hotel room for each guest for 3 days vs. your unit… well hands down this was a no brainier.. “GET THE TOWNHOUSE” . As the time to leave got nearer, I can’t tell you how many times my superiors questioned my decision. Since the payment had already been made and we weren’t entitled to full refund, I ensured them this was by far the best accommodation they would ever have on a business trip.
The accommodations was a huge success and far beyond the expectations of our senior management team. They were comfortable, and could work effortlessly with being hunched over on a bed or small desk in a stuffy hotel room. They were well relaxed each morning and ready to tackle the day business meetings.
Definitively doing this again.
