Perfection
Quality from start to finish. Great location, superb and breathtaking views, and first class accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again when we return to Kerikeri. Wonderful hosts were the icing on the cake!

Peaceful and perfect
this is a return visit and again we had a wonderful stay. Its luxurious and comfortable with stunning views. Felt like coming home. We will be back.

Great little getaway

This stay was just what we needed. The lodge was beautiful and the little touches definitely don’t go unnoticed - very thoughtful! Incredible views, private and cozy. The hosts were great and made us feel at home. Couldn’t recommend more and cannot wait to return :)

I wanna Go Back
we had an amazing experience and would love to return. Spotless, view to die for, thoughtful hosts and cozy but luxurious accommodations. Location was quiet but near enough to town. Best stay out of 14 diff locations.

A great place to stay.
Skylark Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. The owners have taken a huge amount of care in building their property and they have really made sure that everything a guest could want in a stay has been provided for. The view is amazing from the lodge and the hosts Karen and Darryl are lovely people who really go the extra mile to make your feel comfortable. We had an amazing stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

A little slice of heaven
Beautiful property with luxurious bed and bathroom. Views were incredible and Karen and Darryl were such lovely hosts. Quiet and peaceful location although well placed for exploring the Bay of Islands. I cannot rate this property enough. It was one of the best places I have stayed.

Gorgeous Getaway
This property is absolutely amazing. Beautiful house, amazing view, and the most wonderful hosts. We felt warmed and welcomed our entire stay. They’re also only a 30min drive to the bay of Island coast. You get tranquil surroundings in the morning and night while you’re at the house without a long drive to all the attractions in the area. If we’re ever lucky enough to come back to NZ and this area we will absolutely stay here again!

This was truely a boutique accommodation experience!
Awesome ever-changing panoramic views over the country-side from every room, hot tub under the stars, accomodating stone bath, daily breakfast, the list goes on...Although the accommodation is in view and close to the hosts' house, our hosts were very respectful of our privacy. It was perfect for our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend!

5 star destination!
Cannot recommend this place highly enough - highlights of our stay included the spa (particularly under the night sky), incredible views, very active bird life and the beautiful stone bath. The hosts are so welcoming and have an incredible commitment to quality. This is a five star destination.

What an amazing place to spend a relaxing & romantic time with your loved one celebrating 16 years of marriage. Beautiful modern place that has everything you can ask for & more. The most amazing Bathroom with stone bath looking out over the valley. Very peaceful & private place. Many Thanks to the Friendly hosts Daryl & Karen for a wonderful breakfast every morning & looking after our requests. Will be back for sure to enjoy it all over again.

Fantastic ! What a wonderful place to stay and the cottage is more than great ! Lovely bed and a super bathroom and what a view from the Jacuzzi ! So beautiful! It has more than exceeded our expectations. Not to mention the ride to Kerikeri on Daryl's Trike. Amazing! Daryl & Karen are superhost !!
