We fully understand the young guests. They wanted to cancel a day before, but had realized the Site-reservation was a non-refundable. A budget-room had been chosen, without reading the facts. And at check-in they presented a card with "signature validation" instead of the needed pin. Not a good start. On top of that we, being fully booked the night before, was not ready with their room at arrival. We offered excuses, drinks/snacks but surely understand that the waiting was irritating for the couple. After re-reading thru Bank instructions we offered to change the payment to the first presented card, but they turned that down. We wish the guests to be more successful with a coming hotel stay with us or someone else. You pay a lot and should be satisfyed.

Nice to hear you had a good stay with us. We have tables in our lounge, and if the weather is good, a nice terrass as well. Most of the time there is no waiting time at breakfast, but in high season of course it can happen.

Thank you very much. Nice to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We are a small familly business and the reception is staffed during check-in hours, 15.00-19-00 (3-7 pm). We are often there in the mornings, but not on a regular basis.
