An exclusive booking at Paradise Valley Lodge provides you complete access to the entire property and provides you with the privacy you may require for your group up to 22 guests. 'The Lodge' sleeps up to 12 people (3 bunk rooms); 'The Country Room' sleeps up to 2 people (self-contained studio room); and 'The Homestead' sleeps up to 8 people (featuring 4 King bedrooms). This is a stunning country property just 15min from the city centre with full access to one of Rotorua's best trout streams along the edge of the property.
The Space:
With Mt Ngongotaha as a backdrop, beautiful country views, 2 acres of lawns and beautiful gardens, a bubbling trout stream and native birds singing… it really does feel like a piece of paradise.
At our unique property you can enjoy the freedom of being self-sufficient with family and friends in one of our many accommodation options. All rooms can be booked individually or the entire property can be booked exclusively – the perfect place for special events or gatherings. We are only 15 minutes from Rotorua City Centre, and just 5 minutes to many major tourist attractions including Zorb, Canopy Tours, Skyline and Ngongotaha Village. There is an excellent trout stream on the property boundary which is famous for its large trout (both rainbow and brown), direct access is available by walking to the bottom of the property. You can also enjoy a hot soak in our spa pool or enquire about booking an onsite massage/spa treatment.
For exclusive bookings, we can change the bedding configuration and split the King beds to make two King Singles in each bedroom. This can provide up to 21 seperate beds accommodating up to 22 guests in the lodge at one time. Let us know your requested bedding configuration at the time of booking so we can have it ready for your arrival.
The Country Room is a purpose designed wheelchair friendly room with a full wet/roll-in bathroom.

Guest Access:
You can request a property map after you book to see the layout of the rooms/dwellings. The Homestead sleeps up to 8 people (featuring 4 bedrooms, each can be a super king or split single beds). This building also features a two laundry areas, both with washing machines. You will have exclusive access to the grounds and spa pool with an exclusive booking.
The Neighborhood:
Paradise Valley is a lovely mix of trees and farmland just 15min from the Rotorua city centre.
Getting Around:
We recommend your own vehicle when staying at the lodge.
Other Things to Note:
We can host Special Events at our property however these require an exclusive booking and will incur an additional cost. Please enquire for more information. Bookings that host events without permission or allow additional guests on-site will face additional charges.
