Excellent customer service and location for everything good breakfast only downside one lift beside that perfect great thai restaurant 200 yards from hotel Nadon thai and great pub up front it the Manahatta 👍

The rooms were clean, the staff are professional and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food to choose from. The location is great close to stores, pubs and restaurants. The metro is right there and just 20 minutes away from the airport.

When we checked in to our room there was an issue with it which meant we asked to be moved. Reception very quickly allocated us a new room, no hassle at all. The hotel is in a fantastic location right opposite the train station. It doesn’t have parking but we parked at the station and it was only £12 for 24 hours. Rooms are really nice, beds very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.

Needs to try harder
Central location hence traffic noise up until midnight, suggest asking for high floor. Room was spacious with very nice bathroom. Mattress was terrible so hard with springs pushing through and the sofa bed was no better, they do offer pillows on request. There was a couple of guys on reception both appeared way to busy to be courteous. Breakfast was good however

Stay was excellent unfortunately the checkin wasn’t as hotels.com didn’t send the confirmation email over so when I turned up I had no room and the hotel was full but luckily the receptionist was fantastic and after 2 hours of being on the phone she managed to sort it I booked this in June so why wasn’t the confirmation sent plus you can’t contact them joke

Central hotel in the busy Newcastle city centre. 50 meters from the train station door and easy walking distance to all main dining and nightlife areas. Rooms basic, clean, quiet aircon. Only downside is that one of the elevators is out of service causing a fairly long wait and there are ongoing refurbishment works in the reception and gym (out of service during our stay).

There are major building works going in at the Hotel which i was not aware of. Only 1 lift works which is a pain ,if on higher floors. Reception area a bit of a mess. If i had know i would have stayed somewhere else.

Good but could be great
Excellent position and room was really lovely, nice size, modern with large tv, tea and coffee, hair dryer and iron, but none of the little extras such as a shower cap or pad and pen both I went out to buy as I was there 5 nights and needed them and no information about the hotel either in a file or in the tv which was broken on arrival however was fixed by maintenance the next day. There was also no information about the hotel with in a file or on the tv. The kitchen was closed for maintenance which I was supposed to get an email about but never did, I was going to book another hotel but they had in there website the kitchen was closed so I booked this one to fine the same problem but the didn’t tell you before arrival. The cleaning was not great however my coffee cups were just rinsed not replaced as the runs of coffee on the outside from myself using them were still there. But generally I would use this hotel again as it’s central and the rooms are good they just need to step up on odd things to make it very good.

Close to the train station (that’s the only positive, if you consider it one). Unless you want an immersive clubbing experience I wouldn’t bother. So noisy. Lift out of order, continued problems with key card and no hot breakfast option.

Very handy for the train station and shopping No floor markings when lift doors opened should be a sign to say which floor the lift had stopped on breakfast was very average some items was cold

I stayed at your Newcastle Hotel Saturday night. Most things were ok. With the exception of the pillows not being very comfortable and there was no hot water for a shower. The tiles behind the toilet in the bathroom were shattered where it looks like someone has kicked them. Breakfast was complete chaos, basic things not there like plates and bacon. I would compare this place to a premier inn. Not horrendous but not great either.

Shocking
We visit this hotel every year and this was one disappointing year which I will no longer be returning. Walked into the hotel to find the lift was still out of service (same as last year). Then got in our room to find no bed was made up for my granddaughter. We pulled out the sofa bed to find a disgusting state (stains, dirty towels, crisp packets) this is not acceptable when you pay that amount of money for one night. Went down to reception and asked for a new room or this cleaned. We had to repack and move to the lower floor which we had to use the stairs (again) to then find out our new room bed wasn’t made up and blood stained mattress. For my granddaughters first stay in a hotel room this was not a good experience.

Thought room was very good clean smart new. Disappointed with night club outside our window loud music until 3 am. Breakfast was like a cattle market and hot food was only Luke warm.

Arrived at 9am, left the bags in luggage room, arrived back to complete check in at 7pm to be told that only 1 room for the 2 booked was available, because of plumbing issues, the hotel obviously knew that they didn’t have enough rooms at an earlier stage for the day, where was the foresight and planning, we waited an hour to get moved to another hotel, missed dinner reservation, ruined the trip
