Located opposite the train station. Rooms are modern, spacious and clean. Check in is efficient. Breakfast is often busy and average. Well connected to the metro, and a short 10 minute walk up to the shopping centre.

On arrival the staff was very welcoming. Checking in very prompt . Lifts work ( always a plus ) . Room very clean & adequate. Bathroom very clean & well stocked with toiletries & towels . Breakfast spot on . All in all a pleasant stay & will definitely book the Hampton by Hilton on my next visit to Newcastle or any city that has one .

Rang this property to tell them I’m a night worker so will be arriving late. The receptionist refused to check me in or allocate a room for me and also never even bothered to pass the message on so I was put down as a no show. When checking out they couldn’t print me a receipt but promised to send it. They never did. I have rang them 3 times for this receipt and given them 2 different email addresses and still I have no receipt. Shocking service.

Stayed on the 7th floor, lovely views amazing location bed was very hard and I found it very uncomfortable but that’s personal preference. Plenty plug sockets for getting ready and was very quiet for a city centre location.
