Car was damaged during concierge parking. Wasn’t allowed to park it myself. Didn’t source the damage until we reached our next destination and nobody mentioned when we were handed the keys. It was clearly done during parking.

Very expensive accommodation for a small room. Bed was ok; uncomfortable pillows. Breakfast buffet was limited in offer. Staff friendly and service good. Valet parking crazy expensive. Park at First Parking 5 minute walk is a much better option good weekend rate.

Decor and food beautiful. No driveway to park your car while checking in. Only parking on site is $50 valet parking which is ridiculous. A real shame - won’t be staying here again due to parking.

As a first-time visitor to Newcastle, I chose this hotel for its reputation for safety and its convenient proximity to both the train station and Darby Street. The room layout exceeded my expectations; it was both comfortable and remarkably quiet, given the traffic outside. However, my arrival at 6:30 pm was met with an unattended reception desk, which was rather confusing. Despite this, the staff more than made up for it during check-out, offering invaluable assistance with directions for catching a bus further down the coast. In essence, this hotel is a tranquil and secure haven nestled in the heart of the city.

Room was to small to have settee a table and 1 chair squished in a corner. There was no pen and notepaper. Liked the large shamps, conditioner and hand soap containers. A body lotion one would be good.
