Comfortable stay in great location
A lovely small cottage room (only 4 in premises). I had Room 3 which was clean and functioning. A tower fan fought against 32 degree heat and failed. You could not open a window and thus we cooked in the room. However normally this would be a great stay as the castle is a minute away and the town centre very close. Despite the heat would recommend

Comfortable and well situated
The room was comfortable, clean and quiet which is all I can ask for when working away from home. The location was lovely, close to the river and the castle and yet conveniently situated for shops, restaurants, public transport and the beautiful market square in Newark. I would go back

Great location but in need of a tidy.
Great location. Slightly overpriced at £100 per night. The Accomadation looks like It needs a tidy and lick of paint. Regardless I would book again.

Gorgeous Stay
The room I stayed in was a dream! The design is impeccable, and the tub was amazing! I was a 10 minute walk from almost everything, and 20 minutes to the train station.

Well located, spotlessly clean and well appointed.
Well appointed rooms with a fantastic view over the canal locks. Comfortable, spotless and with good access. Service was second to none, including return of mistakenly left items for free. Excellent location in town with good local amenities.

Riverside Getaway
We stayed during the August Bank Holiday. Fantastic room, very well decorated with personal touches, and well appointed with plenty of storage and all the mod-cons, very clean and importantly very quiet, in a great location overlooking the lock. A brief walk got us to the park, castle, and the centre of Newark. If we return to Newark, and I’m sure we will, we will be rebooking!

Thank you for your comments but for clarification i must respond. Your stay corresponded with a sharp reduction in temperature and eventually snow. Our heating is timed to come on periodically through the day as guests are normally out but after you rang to say it was cold i changed the settings to ensure it was on all day and also through the night and at no time after your call did the building temperature drop below 18 degrees even overnight and in the daytime was between 21-22 degrees. You stayed for 3 days but i had no other comment from you so i assumed your needs had been met. We had 3 other rooms operating throughout your stay which possibly meant that hot water was not instant as they all operate from 1 boiler. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us but i hope anyone reading this response will understand that we responded immediately to your concern and made every effort to ensure your comfort thereafter.
