Radio City Apartments was close to all of the shows we wanted to see. So this was very convenient to get Rush tickets on a daily basis prior to heading out for a day of site-seeing. The Kitchenette had most things we needed. Some scissors would have been handy but we made due with the sharp knife. The only small negative was the slow elevators. We were on the 12 the floor and chose to walk down a couple of times rather than waiting for the elevator to arrive. Walking up was never an option.

Worst front desk staff ever. Very rude people. The Hispanic guy at the front does not like Black people. He tried to charge me for 1 night including a very high deposit that I was Not aware of. When I complained that it was too high, He asked me if I am “broke” then called the police to ask me to leave. I had a Prepaid reservation from Expedia but they wanted more money. The Police arrived and told HIM that did nothing wrong for complaining that I am being overcharged by the Hotel. I asked to speak with the manager, but he Ignored me. I was tired and I had 4 suitcases. The New York Police helped carry my luggage and recommended a hotel nearby. Thank you NYPD.

The first night we saw a coachroach by the bed then killed one in the utensil drawer. Called front desk, they said they hadnt seen any in a long time and we could not switch rooms as hotel ws booked solid. Maintenence came up and set traps, he was very nice. Front desk and manger only said they we sorry. Best they could do was clean room next day and switch out the plates and utensils. We did not use the kitchen part of Studio for our 5 night stay and were not compensated. When i asked for compensation manger changed subject and went back to saying sorry this happened. Both front staff and management response felt scripted. Decided not to push subject as we were made to feel cockroaches are normal in New york and we did want to ruin our trip with a fight with the hotel. For the whole stay front staff seemed indifferent. That being said the room itself was fine and the location was awesome. Close to subway and walking distance to times square etc.
