Let me just start with “you get what you pay for.” This was definitely a budget hotel but the pictures on Expedia are definitely misleading. The rooms actually look decent and nice in the photos, however, they do not look like that in person. There was also no AC at this hotel and it was very hot when I was in Munich. All I had in my room was a fan by the bed that was covered in inches of dust. There was also dust bunnies all in the corners of the floor, as if they didn’t sweep or vacuum in the room. The pillows, as a previous review mentioned, completely sucked. They were super flat and not comfortable at all. The only thing about this room was the bathroom appeared to be updated with the tile. The bathroom was, however clean. The shower was extremely small and only fit one person in it. I am 6 feet tall and about 210 pounds and I barely fit inside the shower. The area is convenient as it is close to the major metro station, however there was always people on the road into the early hours of the morning and it was loud on the street; my room was facing the street on the third floor. I also noticed starting on my second night that there were bugs coming out at night. These were small black bugs that were very fast and would run into the corners once you turned on the lights. The sofa in the room was extremely old and was actually peeling and made a mess. It was fake leather and of course overtime that peels. The rooms need a complete refresh. You get what you pay for.

For the money it’s a nice hotel that does what it needs to do: it’s a bed in the center of the city. The room has a refrigerator and they had left some bottles of water for me in the room when I checked in which was a nice touch. The rooms have no aircondition so in the summer it is very hot! I didn’t sleep well because the room was too hot even though there was a fan in the room and I could open the window. The staff was nice and overall it’s a fine hotel

No A/C and you couldn’t cool down room. Our room was probably 85-90 degrees F all night. Middle Eastern food is only what’s available for several blocks. Cheap and close to train are the positives

The hotel is surrounded by primarily kabob shops and looks like a “by the hour” “hotel” in NYC. Staff was rough, almost rude and gruff. NO AIR conditioning AND the windows don’t open enough to cool the room down in the evening. The room stayed 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit all night with the windows open the crack they opened. It is very close to the train station as the positive.

Beware. This hotel bore no resemblance to the pictures on the site. I found there was a reason they didn’t offer bookings with refund. Shortly before arrival an email notified there were ‘facade renovations’ going on. What I found was unrecognisable and I would not have booked if I’d known the true state of the hotel. Bags of laundry and materials were in the corridor - a clear hazard! I decided not to stay, in fact I left Munich and stayed in Augsburg instead.

I'm used to staying at bargain hotels when I'm traveling solo. I don't need much, and don't need to impress anyone - I look for a comfortable and safe place to leave my stuff and sleep. I visited in the midst of the 2024 heat wave - and this hotel has no air conditioning - which was completely unexpected for me. To make matters worse, there was no reliable internet access on the 7th floor, and the staff didn't make any effort to resolve my issue - which I sort of understand because they aren't tech support - but I'm an ex-Googler and know my way around these things... the WiFi is unacceptable here on the 7th floor. They need to fix it with an additional access point. So i paid for this with cellphone tethering for a whole week. Also, the pillows are ridiculously bad here. I know that seems like a crazy thing to complain about - but, really, it was like they put a bunch of cotton balls into a garbage bag and called it a pillow. I've traveled continuously for over a year and stayed in iraq for six months (across a couple trips) and I have never in my life encountered worse pillows in a hotel LOL TLDR; pay a little bit more and stay somewhere comfortable with air conditioning and internet. The proximity to the train station is great, but there are plenty of other hotels that offer better deals in terms of the basics, and are just as close to the train station.

The location is really good and near the train station however the facility itself is not very nice. There is no air conditioning and when I checked in the fan in my room was broken and I couldn’t get a new one until the next morning. Also the bathroom floor towel was soaking wet.

Really loved this place! So many restaurants nearby, transport links etc and can easily walk into the centre if Munich if you wish. The staff on the desk were really friendly and spoke good English. Decent breakfast, I would of preferred more fruit. Would stay here again.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. But first of all a few things that were alright:|- nice water presssure in the shower|- alright breakfast. No hairdryers in the room. Room very basic. Toilet was stained.. cleaning staff not very friendly, the breakfast staff were polite. Area of hotel wasn't great, would definitely not go back.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The room was not so bad but the shower did not drain. I reported it and they attempted to fix the problem but it never did drain properly with water up to my ankles.

Reasonable value for central location.
Check-in was straightforward, and the location of the hotel is good if arriving into Munich central station. The hotel is also a fair price for this, too. The bed was comfortable. The included breakfast is fine. That said, the room was in need of a slight refresh. It was also unfortunate that the safe in my room was locked when I arrived, so I was unable to use it (in fairness, I only reported this towards the end of my stay). Other than very soft pillows (not to my taste), the only two minor gripes I have were the absence of luggage storage option at the hotel - I do not recall if this was noted during booking - and sound carried from the corridor into the room. Still, for a bed and a shower in central Munich, an okay option.
