"Cute cozy cabin with everything you need. Make sure you have everything food wise when you arrive, closest store is 40 minutes away. Many spots to swim and fish down the road to walk or couple minutes drive. Me and my kids enjoyed it, nobody wanted to leave. You can tube up and down the creek. Cough some trout and grilled it, was the best. If you plan any trips to Grandfather mountain or zip lining, make it a day trip. I did my gps in before I left the house, so directions worked the whole way...

"My huaband enjoyed every minute of hiking with our Labrador. The cabin was cozy and the views were fantastic. We will be back! There were a lot of ticks on the trails (nothing to do with the property), so anyone bringing a dog, make sure they are protected with something. The deck that goes around the cabin is amazing! You can be out even if its raining. The host answered all of our questions within minutes! Highly recommend!"

"If you love peace and quiet, this cabin will be your happy spot. It's out of the way with its private slice of babbling creek, lush ferns, mosses, rocks, and birds. Very well appointed, clean as a whistle, and all wrapped in a wonderful porch. We ate lunch along the way at quaint 'Almost on the Lake' and did a simple pasta dinner and oatmeal breakfast for our one-day stay. If you have a novel or jigsaw puzzle you want to finish, there couldn't be a better spot. I can see bringing my grands back...

"We had a fantastic 3-day stay! This cozy cabin is clean, with all the basics you need, including a charcoal grill. It's nestled into the quiet countryside yet conveniently close to town. The rooms and furnishings are laid out well in the small space, so as to keep an open feel without being too minimalistic. The hot tub and other facilities/utilities worked great. Anyone complaining about the stairs to the bedrooms clearly didn't pay attention to the description or reviews - while steep, they...

"This was our second stay at this cute, comfy and cozy cabin in the woods. The owners go above and beyond in supplying all of the things you might have left home or don’t want to scramble to the store for…. Shampoo, soaps, paper towels, napkins, coffee, spices, etc. It’s so nice to go to a rental that’s not just bare bones. We enjoyed beautiful hiking at Stone Mountain, then grilling and relaxing on the back porch, listening to the quiet of this peaceful place. We’ll be back, I hope!"

"My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a three-day weekend trip for our anniversary and it was simply perfect! We LOVED the gorgeous view off the deck and the hot tub. When it got too hot outside or rainy, we snuggled up in the cozy nook and enjoyed the mountain view from the comfort of inside. It felt spacious and clean while also cozy and warm. It's a little bit of a trek to get to the nearest town, and we forgot to bring shampoo/conditioner so we had to drive to Blowing Rock, about 50 min...

"Neat cottage in the woods. Owners are on the property ( in another location) and very nice. Especially enjoyed relaxing on the back porch. A creek is on the property and can be heard from the porch. Perfect for the two of us. Enjoyed going to Sparta, never been there before. Close enough to a lot of places for hikes and antique hunting. All around, the most relaxing stay we have had in a long while. We’ll go again."

"My girlfriend and I were attending a wedding at Sky Retreat. This was a perfect in-expensive booking. Was the perfect lil getaway for 2 nights. The tiny house is right off of the road, making it easier to get to the highway rather than climbing a mountain. Cabin was like 10 minutes from Boone. This lil cabin has perfect views on both sides. The owner stays nearby the cabins, so that’s a plus if anything is needed. Highly recommend."
