Everything was wonderful about this property. Check in was smooth and easy. Room was very nice and clean. Beds were so comfortable. All of the staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was very good also!

מלון מצוין. צוות נחמד מאוד שעוזר בכל דבר. ביקשנו חלב סויה בבוקר ומיד דאגו לנו וכל בוקר חיכה לנו החלב על השולחן. קיבלנו חדר גדול מאוד למרות שהוזמן חדר רגיל. יש במלון חדרים לציוד סקי, חדרים פרטים לשמירת ציוד וכן סאונה מדהימ. מלון ממולץ מאוד במרכז העיירה קרוב מאוד לכל הפעילויות.

A nice place to stay in a tightly congested community with hikers and parasailers. Arrived on Saturday so shops close early. Breakfast is well presented. Wifi is slow.

Veery good
We boken the same day and everything went just fine. A very nice and central little hotel. Friendly staff and we got a very big room and it fresh. Beakfast was amazingly good. We can absolute recommend this nice hotel.

Nice hotel with excellent location in Mayrhofen.
Attractive traditional type hotel in the center of Mayrhofen. Room was comfortable and very spacious. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast, WiFi, parking, location, etc., were excellent. The only negative comment I could make is the our room didn’t have table lamps or wall lamps at the beds. No problem if you’re reading on a Kindle or iPad, but not so hot for a book. But, I’d stay at the Posthotel again.

Brilliant Hotel
This hotel is fantastic. Everything about it is brilliant. The village of Mayrhofen has become our favourite place to stay in Austria, some of which is due to Posthotel. It has a very useful car park which is both easily accessible, well lit and safe though perhaps a few more signs would be helpful.

Wonderful place to stay in the Mayrhofen area!
If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the Mayrhofen area, this is it. Staff was very courteous, room was very clean with flat-screen TV with international cable channels. The hotel has the flair of Austria with rustic furniture. Wi-Fi connection was excellent. The area is also very nice, the hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is an excellent restaurant just across the street and more choices just down the road. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of breads, cereals, eggs,cold cuts, even cake was served, and also a variety of hot and cold beverages and juices.I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for budget-friendly hotel.If you are traveling by car , an underground parking garage is provided.

Fabulous stay
My stay at the Post Hotel in Mayrhofen for 6 nights was a lovely experience. Fantastic friendly staff, comfortable well equipped room and excellent selection of hot and cold food in the buffet breakfast. Each evening I had a nightcap at the hotel bar and the prices were extremely reasonable and the staff full of friendly conversation. The hotel has an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the station and central Mayrhofen with all its great bars, shops and restaurants. Thank you to all the staff at The Post Hotel for making my stay so enjoyable

Good hotel in great location
Really enjoyed our stay. Staff all lovely and very helpful. Room spacious and clean with plenty of storage and nice terrace. Room decor a bit tired and would have been nice to have a kettle so we could make our own hot drinks. Beds were ok but a bit creaky. Kids loved the breakfast buffet. We stayed 10 days so it was really useful that there were facilities for washing and drying clothes. Location was great, right in the middle of Mayrhofen, walking distance to the cable cars and surrounded by lots of good restaurants.

Very bad customer service.
Mayrhofen is one of the nicest region of Tirol. However, I wasn't pleased with my stay at Posthotel. The rooms are without fans and thank God, it rained last Tuesday and that brought the temperature down. The breakfast is OK, the scrambled eggs not eaten by the guests will be brought to the buffet on the following day. I am very cautious about what I eat. I requested an omelette. That wasn't possible. The check out is at 10.00 (but check in at 14.00) and the servicing of the room is done as from 8am. When I requested a check out at 11.00, that wasn't possible with the excuse that the cleaner needed to clean the room for the next guest. But, she starts cleaning at 8.00 (as most of the guests have had breakfast and out on excursions). How many rooms would she have to clean from 11.00 until 14.00, the time by which they will allow guests to check in? When I checked out yesterday, I mentioned the fans (ventilator in German). The lady at the reception informed me that they can't install an aircon (Klimaanlage) in an old building. I reiterate I was talking about a fan. But she then mentioned I could have requested one and they'd ask the owner of the hotel to lend me one. That was a joke. I told her they should think about it in the first place. With the heat in summer, people would require a fan. On top of that, the women working there hardly smile. A bit too much to ask??

We are very sorry to read that you were not satisfied with your stay in our hotel. Our guest usually mention especially the warm welcome and the friendliness of all the staff. We had a very good summer this year with a lot of sun shine – just the perfect holiday weather. As we are not used to such warm summers it is not common to have an aircon in the hotels in our area. As you have never mentioned at reception that you would require a fan in your room – therefore we do not really understand your expression „That was a joke“. Regarding the check-in and check-out time we want to point out that all the restrictions are written down and you can even look it up before booking the hotel – and 10.00 a.m. is a normal/common check-out time. As the room (which you stayed in) has been booked on the same day again, we were not able to extend the check-out time. It is absolutely not O.K. to claim: „that the scrambled eggs not eaten by the guests will be brought to the buffet on the following day“. This is absolutely not true, and we do not know how you come up with such an idea. Just for your information – we do have fresh eggs each day (real eggs!!!! no egg powder or ready-stirred eggs in plastic container). We are a 3 star hotel with a very good breakfast buffet but you are right we do not offer a 5 star service with omelettes.

Ja i mój mąż przyjechaliśmy że znajomymi na narty. Hotel jest położony niedaleko centrum około 10-15min na pieszo. Panie z recepcji bardzo niemiłe jakby łaskie komuś robiły i robiły wrażenie jakby za karę tam pracowały, panie ze śniadania bardzo fajne, uśmiechnięte każdego dnia. Nasz pokój był z widokiem na góry tylko od strony sypialni. Łazienka była strasznie mała, z dodatkowego pokoju nie korzystaliśmy raczej nam wadzil. Łóżko wygodne ale w pokoju nie było czajnika ani kubków. Ogólnie pobyt ok byłam w lepszych hotelach za te pieniądze, następnym razem napewno przyjedziemy do Mayrhofen ale nie wrócimy do tego hotelu.

Lovely hotel, excellent friendly service and a great location. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. With a nice view of the mountains. Hotel only a few minutes walk from local bars restaurants and the town's 2 cable cars.

A pleasant stay at the Posthotel.
A pleasant stay. The hotel is centrally located and is welcoming. Very good reception staff who provided an excellent check in (even showing me up to the room). The room itself was good, clean and comfortable. A very good and welcome breakfast was provided in the morning. All of this, and for a good price. I would stay at this hotel again.
