Wonderful hotel and staff very accommodating for last minute changes due to flight disruptions and sensitive to customer needs. This will be my first choice hotel in Manchester from now on.
Booked for one night only. Encountered a horrible and nasty night manager at 3am coming back from a night out with a friend who wouldn't let additional guests enter until 8am. He was rude and tried to chuck her out onto the street. On top of that the next door room holding a party being anti social and making a ton of noise. Never staying here ever again
Really, really nice staff - makes all the difference when the staff appear to like where they're working. I felt that the staff took a pride in their job and this in turn was passed on to us,the guests. If I get an opportunity to come to Manchester again, this will be my first choice.
We stayed her a night for a gig at Yes 1 minute away , nice big room lovely space , fab bathroom, the breakfast was Fantastic we paid £105 for bed and breakfast great value we would definitely stay here again
Can't fault the hotel and bang next to the car park. I'm disabled and can't walk far though so had to uber to northern quarter and old Trafford areas. There's things like KFC and Subway bang next door but couldn't find a nice sit down restaurant and a lot of the side streets were a bit run down and scary at night.
Saying that though I had a wonderful time, the hotel was great, and for another short stay I wouldn't think twice about booking again
Reasonably central although rather tucked away and a distance from the true city centre. Room comfortable with good facilities but noisy due to proximity to railway line. No teabags for morning tea.
Good check in/check out.
Loved the location and the room was big and comfortable. The bar and restaurants was brilliant and comfortable with a nice quiet/buzzy atmosphere. The staff were great too. Should’ve had better amenities, eg shower cap, slippers - those things you’d expect and need!
Long check in times. Train noises from room on 13th floor. Room clean but very dim. Water hot, mattress very comfortable. Nice bar area, did not try the breakfast.
Was okay for 2 nights - went to check in and was shown to a self check in station despite talking to a person. We also requested a high floor and it put us on a 2nd floor which was noted on booking so had to speak to another member of staff to get this sorted.
Could hear doors being slammed all around the floor as well waking us up but for a hotel for a short stay it was okay considering the price.
Friendly and helpful staff at front desk and restaurant.
Comfortable beds and shower.
Nice buffet breakfast with a variety of food choice.
An enjoyable stay.
Love this hotel, great breakfast, comfortable rooms, but ask for high floor and Oxford Road direction view. Room 514 impossible to have window open because of nightlife and railway noise.
