Very lovely hotel room and close to the town centre. Beautiful building and we enjoyed the piano player in the evenings in the bar. The bed was very soft and comfortable but my side of the bed did have a dip in it. Lovely strong shower. Will be staying again!

Amazing hotel with a resort atmosphere. Saunas were free, the refrigerator contained free beverages (including one beer) and the reception area had some small free pastries after the morning breakfast had been served. The stay was a true treat that made us feel special. Oh, yea, the view and location was amazing! Book it, you will not regret it.

Die Klospülung war kaputt, sodass ich nicht spülen konnte. Meine Anfrage dies zu reparieren während ich in die Stadt zum Abendessen ging, war leider erfolglos. Auch keine Nachricht dass jemand da war, oder dass ich das Zimmer wechseln könne. Der Lüfter im Bad hatte keine Abdeckung. Insgesamt nicht eines 4-Sterne Hotels würdig

Great location, great facilities, food not so good
Fabulous location, hotels facilities are excellent, ther rooms are fab and views and gorgeous. We will come back for sure. The xmas drink set-up outside was amazing but far too pricey. We had a meal in the Marina cafe, very expensive, my partner food was inedible, it was like eating food dipped in corosive acid, and my choices gave me a night on the toilets.

The hotel complex, overlooking the city and the river is beautiful. The reception staff are weak and incompetent. Housekeeping is very poor. Dusty floors and furniture, unwashed mugs left in the room. Only changed when reception staff told. Coffee supplies not replaced. The hotel needs committed, hardworking, professional staff who are well trained. The current staff are hopeless and let the beautiful hotel down.

Amazing hotelexperience
A beautiful hotel in the heart of Luneburg. The room is spacious and the bed one of the best we ever slept in! Amazing breakfast and the staff very friendly.

Just great overall.
Check in was a breeze and the guy at the desk was fantastic. He spoke perfect English (although my German is pretty good) it made the check in easier. The town is a fantastic old town. Get the breakfast, great selection!

Great hotel in a wonderful location. Check-in was pleasant, the rooms large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. A beautiful location with all the sights in Lueneburg close by.

My unpleasant stay
The room was spacious and clean but the toilet roll holder was missing the sink tap was very loose the bath stool was broken and the shower spilled water out under the door and onto the floor although the beds were made every day the room wasn't cleaned very well . I'm sorry to say this hotel does not reflect a 4 star hotel and I will not be staying here again

Die Lage des Hotels ist super zentral, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie die Einkaufsstrasse sind in wenigen Minuten Fussweg zu erreichen. Lüneburg ist eine Reise wert. Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier gar nicht. Wir hatten ein Superior-Zimmer gebucht und erhielten zunächst ein kleines DZ im Dachgeschoss was weder in Größe noch in der Ausstattung einer Superior-Ausstattung entsprach. Nach unserer Klage konnten wir das Zimmer tauschen. Das Zimmer im Haupthaus war recht gross, die Betten bequem, das Frühstück gut und reichhaltig. Die Sauberkeit läßt insgesamt zu wünschen übrig, sowohl im Zimmer, als auch im Bad oder auf den Fluren. Schmutziger, fleckiger Teppich, verkalkte Dusche, kaputtes Gummi an der Duschtür, keine funktionstüchtige Handbrause, defekter Wasserhahn. Wir haben es einer Mitarbeiterin gesagt aber auch nach 3 Tagen wurde nichts repariert. Es wurde an allen Tagen nur 1 Bett (wir hatten aber ein Doppelbett) gemacht und das auch erst gegen 16 Uhr. Der Aufzug fährt jeweils nur bis in die mittleren Ebenen. Zu den Zimmern u. U. sind einige Treppenstufen zu gehen. Es gibt einen Parkplatz und eine Tiefgarage, aber keinen direkten Zugang von der Tiefgarage zum Haus. Wir hatten uns das Bergström anders vorgestellt.

Die Lage ist top und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Frühstück, sodass man gut gestärkt die fußläufig erreichbare, wunderschöne Altstadt erkunden kann. Die Poolwassertemperatur ist sehr angenehm und das Zimmer war schön, klimatisiert, geräumig und vor allem nicht hellhörig. Die Terrasse bietet einen hervorragenden Blick und liegt direkt am Wasser- super für einen Sun Downer am Abend. Der Poolbereich wird leider nicht täglich gereinigt oder geprüft. Es lag Staub unter Liegen und ein Pflaster am Rand. Selbiges war leider 24 h später immernoch da. Die Auflagen waren leider auch etwas fleckig und vom Gestänge blätterte die Farbe ab. Im Saunabereich gab es einen defekten Knopf an einer Mischbaterie, aber ausreichend alternative Möglichkeiten. Die Möbel der Wellnessbereiche könnten insgesamt mehr Wartung, Pflege und Erneuerung vertragen. In einem 4-Sterne Haus erwartet man von der Leitung des Hauskeeping mehr Blick für Details damit solche Dinge -insbesondere das Pflaster- nicht vorkommen.

Leider anders als erwartet. Zimmer erst mit Aufzug, dann Treppe. Kaum für ältere Menschen mit Rollator machbar. Servicepersonal sehr unaufmerksam. Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, Betten durchgelegen und das im 4 Sterne Hotel. Abfluss der Dusche verstopft. Lage des Hotels sehr gut.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und arbeitet professionell. Die Bar am Abend und das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.Perfekt! Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!
