Good location for the Bethnal Green tube station. Hotel is modern with rooms which are small but adequate. Breakfast is great and the staff are very helpful. Nice places to eat behind the hotel. Will stay again.

Friendly staff - but overall I have to say it felt like a 2-star stay. Lifts out of order. Soundproofing zero (!). WiFi constantly down. Shower leaking. It was a low price, but the experience was just very basic as well.

The description of the room I booked was ‘Premium Double’, so naturally the ‘premium’ was the next level higher category than the ‘Standard Double’. So to find that the room was absolutely ‘NOT’ a ‘Premium’..! It was like a ‘Single’ with a double bed in it. The size was very very small, & there wasn’t even a kettle to boil water to make tea or coffee.? Totally wrong & deceiving to call it a Premium Double, because what is it that makes it a ‘Premium’ not a Standard?! Won’t stay there again & would’nt recommend Yotel to any friends or family!

Being assigned a room in the Level 2 sub-basement was unusual to say the least, but it was clean and comfortable if somewhat cramped. The name is disingenuous… the hotel is smack in the middle of Bethnal Green. Shoreditch is over a mile away. Staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was nice. It was a cheap room but I can understand why now. The area does not feel safe at night but it’s probably fine as long as you’re careful.

Very nice clean hotel, the only down side was a sliding glass door to the bathroom that was very hard to open and noisy for a family room and didn’t close fully for privacy

Lovely hotel, very modern and room was lovely. Area is perfect, not even two minutes from the tube station. Room was not very clean. Always made up every day, but wardrobe, toilet bowl and duvet were never clean. I would recommend that you skip out on breakfast - not a great reception or location to eat. Otherwise lovely

The staff worked very hard to resolve any issues that came up. It just seemed like every day something was not working or was not right. Toilet, then no food for the menu, coffee machine breaking etc. The staff was great, Karl the manager did what he could given the circumstances. Location is very close to central line subway so it was easy to get around London on the tube

Windowless and airless sweat box
The hotel rooms do not have windows. This was not at all clear when booking! They put me in the wrong room type. The air conditioning was broken and the room was a hit and airless sweat box despite it being November. 4 visits to "reception" (there isn't really a reception and very few staff to help) and they conceded that the only thing they could provide was a fan.

Cashless Hotel. Small, compact rooms. Windows did not open. After having a shower, condensation was everywhere. Floor was slippy. Air con didn't work properly. Got stuck in lift. Sheets on bed we're not changed. Bed was only remade!
