Absolutely beautiful lodging. The design is gorgeous. The staff was very kind and professional. The breakfast offerings are perfect. Really great coffee (one of the only good cups I had in the UK). My only lament is that the guests staying in the room next to ours were very loud until late in the evening making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise, a perfect experience!

Everything and everyone was lovely, however, the room was very small. It was difficult to walk around the bed. We only stayed for one night as it was near the airport while still being in a charming area. I would stay again, but the room size is definitely an issue. Also, better storage would help address of some the issues with the small size of the room. Otherwise, staff were delightful and helpful, the property was great, and walkable to dining and markets.

Nice hotel. Staff is excellent, friendly, and eager to help make your stay its best. Rooms are small but nicely appointed. Bathroom shower/tub is narrow; however in my limited experience in Europe, this seems the norm. Overall a great property I would return to.

The moment you walk in you will realise that you made a great choice selecting this hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Awesome design. The location is perfect. You can walk 5 minutes to underground, bus is next to you (if you need a bus), bakeries, shops, restaurants everything is nearby.

Gorgeous new, clean hotel. Heated bathroom floors and strong, hot shower. Rooms are modern and well decorated, lots of USB ports. Kind and thoughtful staff. Excellent location, less than 10 minutes walk to train station, shops and restaurants.

Staff were excellent. When I arrived the baby cot wasn’t in my room. I called reception and they immediately moved me to a larger room with baby cot, and helped me with all my stuff whilst I fed my baby.

The property was conveniently located for my needs, close to public transport into London. the staff were very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the Selwyn to travellers as a great hotel to stay. I will be coming back whenever I'm in Richmond

Great London overnighter
A lovely hotel, great location for walking into Richmond or getting the tube into London. You need to prebook parking which we did at short notice. Very efficient reception staff.

The rooms where smaller than expected and the airplane noise was constant from 4:30am til 12:00 midnight. If your a light sleeper choose elsewhere.

Incredibly small room for such a price was expecting at least something larger. There was dirt on the floor when entering the room for the 1st time. Although cooked breakfast was nice, it took time to get arrive. Also, when buffet food ran out it was not replenished.

A delightful stay pretty close to downtown London. Very close to a Tube station. Beautiful area. The room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and there were SO many options. Cocktail hour was such a nice perk, as well. I will definitely be back!

This property is prime if looking at a London vacation. The hotel is boutique, in quiet Richmond, and is super easy access to the tube to hop on the train to visit. All staff are super kind and helpful you at any chance. Thanks for making our stay absolutely memorable.

The Selwyn is quite a remarkable boutique hotel in Richmond (Greater London). I found it roomy and very clean. My room had a fancy coffee machine with complimentary biscotti. Many other ‘luxury’ features too numerous to list in a short review. It’s fairly close to the Richmond tube station and just a short walk to the High Street, with abundant pubs, restaurants and grocery shopping.
