The location is great. The building looks nice from the outside, but that is about it. The flat was not. Mould on all the walls, broken kitchen splashback, all the chairs and table has wobbly legs (we were scared to sit on them), all kitchen appliances were really the cheapest and old, no light in the corridor, the sofa bed is simply horrible to sleep on, and so on... Everything in the flat was falling apart. On the top of that, we arrived late (by 1 am) and there were no bed sheets. We had to ask the reception and wait 45 minutes to get them (given by a not so happy person who had be awaken for the task). Then you have 24 hours to dully fill a form and do a full inventory of every single items, then sign the document. The thing is there is nothing that would dare to take away as everything is cheap or broken. I have taken photo of everything, including the inventory form, just in case. We talked to a person from the letting agency, who came and see the flat by herself. She could only confirm what we had written was all true but only mentioned “the location”. The location may be great, the flat is definitely a 5 star as advertised, not even a single star one. And instead of mentioning the location, as an excuse, we would have appreciated to be offered to move to another flat. Really disappointing.

Dear Lise,Firstly, may I thank you for taking the time to review your stay here with us at Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation. We were disappointed to read that the perception of your stay was not a pleasant one. It was myself as the Property Manager that attended the apartment in response to your concerns regarding the condition of the apartment. There was no mold on the walls when I visited the Apartment and you pointed out to me some paint that was peeling and cracking a little around the Kitchen window area. The spotlight bulb in the hallway had gone out and this was quickly replaced with your permission and at your convenience. You did not bring to my attention the chairs and table and I have since been into the apartment to check and found these to be OK so I am slightly confused regarding your feedback for these particular items. We have very different types of furniture in our Apartments as the properties are individually owned by separate Landlords the décor in each is unique and I was sorry to hear that your perception of the facilities provided for your use were of poor quality as we have not received this feedback before. We encourage our owners not to place expensive equipment in the apartments as they do receive a fair amount of fair wear and tear and things do get broken from time to time. We did make an error with the number of guests in the apartment as this did not filter through to our booking system for which we sincerely apologise and apologise for any delay upon your arrival in rectifying this. The inventory that is provided is purely there to protect you so that you are not charged for any damages etc when you depart. It is not compulsory to complete this but we do encourage our guests to do so. It is mainly to cover the large expensive items such as our Smart Tv's and washer Dryers etc. We would of course have been delighted to offer you an apartment move if we were not fully booked and I did explain this to you at the time. We have a small hard-working, loyal team who really do care about their guests and this review has come as a surprise to us. After speaking with you and addressing the issues you advised me you would return to stay with us but perhaps not in that particular apartment. My card was given and I advised that you should contact me directly and I would be able to perhaps advise you on a more suitable apartment for your needs.We are boutique because we are individual, and different and we feel our prices reflect this and are competitive with other apartment companies in the surrounding area.Once again we apologise that your stay here with us did not meet with your expectations and hope you shall give us the opportunity to welcome you back to Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation to give us the opportunity to restore your faith in us.

The area of Chelsea is beautiful, hotel is in a good location. It’s unfortunate that they were under construction while we were there on the new driveway. The desk staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room itself was nice but needs to be updated, the carpet was very stained, washer didn’t work well and there were other floors that could use some renewing. Curtains were very thin and some blinds were missing on windows. If some upkeep was done to the room it would be very nice.

Apartment was very convenient for walking to train, getting coffee, and having meals. Service desk very helpful with information. Apartment was lacking cutlery, so it was a challenge to make any meals in the kitchen. Unfortunately, no one responded to my complaint of no cutlery during my 6-day stay.

Dear Gary Thank you for your review. We are delighted to read your enjoyed your stay, our location and the service provided by the porters. I am sorry, however, to read you did not find the cutlery, which was in the drawer under the oven. On arrival you completed the inventory and noted that cutlery was missing. We receive it the day after your check-in and immediately replied to you through Hotels.com messaging system advising you where the cutlery could be found. As you never visited our office or mentioned to the porters that you were unable to find the cutlery, we assumed you had read our message and found it. I understand this was not the case, and I am sorry you did not contact us by any other means which would have allowed us to point you in the right direction. We hope we have the opportunity to welcoming you back in future and do not hesitate to email, call or visit our office located in front of the lifts should you require any assistance during your stay. Genel anlamda rahat bir konaklama geçirdik. Hava soğuk olmasına karşın odalar yeteri derecede ısıtılabiliyor. Camlar da izolasyon çok iyi. Nell Gwynn konum olarak çok iyi bir noktada. Gerek yürüyerek birçok noktaya ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Metroya yakın. Etrafında yemek ve içecek yerleri açısından zengin. Binanın hemen klarşısında Starbucks ve Sainsburry (market) olması çok faydalı. Tek sorun yatak odasının zemininin halı olması. Halı yeterince temizlenmiyor. Onun dışında genel temizlik iyi.

L'appartamento è nuovo e ben tenuto, spazioso pur essendo un monolocale. Pulito e letti comodi. La cucina è ben fornita e ci sono anche tè/caffè/zucchero/latte. Come da nostra richiesta ci sono stati forniti culla e seggiolone per la nostra bimba con un piccolo supplemento. La struttura si trova in una zona molto bella e residenziale. E' esattamente a metà strada tra le stazioni della metro South Kensington e Sloane Square (qui si arriva con la circle lane/gialla direttamente da Liverpool Street). Proprio difronte ci sono: starbucks, farmacia, supermercato aperto fino mezzanotte e nei dintorni vari ristoranti. Assolutamente consigliato!
