Our cabin is your home away from home! Ideal for a weekend getaway or remote work location, the home has a kitchen stocked by hosts who love to cook, remote workstations and fast Wifi, and nearby hiking and wine tasting in Virginia Wine Country. You'll have the option to catch-up on your favorite show or watch the deer frequently visiting the yard while you sip your morning coffee on the screened-in porch or an evening beverage on the back deck by the fire.

The Space

As you arrive, you'll enter up a flight of stairs into a screened in porch, perfect for relaxing on the hammock in the evening or waking up to enjoy a cup of coffee. As you enter, you'll find the main living space with a dining table set for up to 6 and fully stocked kitchen.

The sitting area faces a 50" TV with Apple TV and Roku options. Two bedrooms and one bath are included on the main floor and the master suite on the 2nd floor alongside a small office loft. The back deck includes a grill, fire pit, hottub, and patio furniture.

And finally, downstairs, you and your group will enjoy our theatre room with 70" HD TV, electric fireplace, and custom accent wall. A true testament to the beauty of combining the cabin experience with modern amenities.

Nearby you will find several wineries and options for hiking and river adventures. At the top of our list we recommend Fox Meadow Winery (reservations sometimes required) less than 15 minutes away. You'll enjoy stunning views of the valley and great wine. We also recommend Aspen Dale Winery for a farm-based winery or Naked Mountain Winery for a more modern experience.

Dinner options abound on Main Street in Front Royal, a 10 minute drive away where we recommend checking out Vibrissa Beer & Kitchen or Main Street Mill. Don't forget dessert at C&C Treats! If you need something a bit closer, the famous Apple House is just minutes away - their Apple Cider donuts are known nationally!

Finally, check out Front Royal Outdoors for river adventures, Skyline Caverns, or take a drive down Skyline Drive for spectacular views in Shenandoah National Park. You really can't go wrong!

A vehicle is certainly required to get around town and find your way to local adventures. Our driveway easily parks 3 vehicles, but the garage is not available. 4WD or AWD is highly recommended when snow exceeds 2".

Our area is surrounded by wildlife - you will regularly see deer and may even sneak a peak at a black bear hanging out on the mountain. While the house rarely houses critters of its own, the occasional bug or tiny creature may make a visit!
