The onsen at the hotel was very good and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was varied and has both Eastern and Western dishes that even the picky eaters will find tempting. The hotel also offers coin-operated washer and dryer. Pro-tip: try not to overload the machines because the dryer will not work as well. Or bring a clothesline to dry your delicates.

One of my top hotels to book when I’m in Kyoto, amazing service, great convenience with the train being just outside! Not too much to do around the area itself but one stop away from the main Kyoto station which is a huge plus!

Love this place. It is very clean and modern yet still very Japanese. The staff is friendly and helpful and there are restaurants on the premise if you don't want to go out. The only downside is the infrequency of the commuter rail, but that's out of the hotel's control. Just FYI
