Stunning 2 Bedroom Luxury Cottage 300 feet from Poipu Beach Park

This custom designed Hawaiian plantation style cottage is located just off the Brennecke's beach side of Poipu Beach Park, 100 steps to the beach!

This spacious house was designed and built in 2013 to be the perfect vacation retreat - its plantation style allows it to blend in with the historic neighborhood, while offering every modern luxury. Outside is a barbeque grilling area, a garden shower accessible from either the master bath or from outside, and under the Plumeria Tree is a landscaped 5 person hot springs style hot tub. Enjoy the 2 master, air conditioned, suites with plush king beds, flat screen TVs, pedestal tub, and outdoor garden shower, and full size front load washer and dryer. The open plan great room opens up to the large lanai with 22 feet of 8' high folding doors, and the 9 1/2 foot high walls, vaulted ceilings, large double hung windows, and ceiling fans keep the place breezy and cool. Both bedrooms are air conditioned to keep you comfortable all night long. The kitchen is equipped with a full sized french door refrigerator, whisper quiet dishwasher, gas range, walk-in pantry, granite counters, open shelving, and fully stocked. The sound system through out the living area as well as the lanai is set up for surround sound TV watching, listening to Pandora, or you can wirelessly listen to your own music collection from your smartphone. Wonderful vacation home
We had a lovely time at this property. It's so close to the beach and very quiet. It was very clean and well-appointed. We got great use out of the cooler bag in the pantry, and the chairs and towels. It's a lovely home with beautiful artwork. Notice that there is no AC in the main rooms, but both bedrooms have it. We were happy for that as it was very warm while we were there. The owners are very helpful and nearby if you need anything. The beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked, too. The outdoor shower is great! We did not use the hot tub. We will definitely recommend. Thank you!

This VRBO rental was absolutely perfect! It is clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated. The lanai is particularly exceptional and our hosts could nit have been more welcoming. Gorgeous beach cottage. I don't have a single complaint. The place was clean and comfortable. It had a very homelike feeling. The location was fantastic as well. Plenty of beaches, restaurants, and shops in walking distance, or 5-10 min drive. We loved our stay, and didn't want to leave. As a side note - So many Sea Turtles at Poipu Beach!!! It was really cool.

The lanais and inside/outside feel of the home was awesome. Our family enjoyed it nightly. Home was really well stocked with games, pans, and some staple cooking tools. Beautiful home just steps from the beach
Upon entering this beautiful home, you feel ready for a real vacation, with all the amenities you could ask for. From the hot tub, to access to Athletic Club, we enjoyed more than the quick access to the beach and great restaurants (I.e. Joe’s and Puka Dog). So glad to have found this place which was reasonably priced considering how perfect it is. The only small thing I would suggest is providing coffee for the coffee maker. Mahalo!

Impressive cottage; best on the block. Great location!
This unique cottage is beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. The location can’t be beat. Just a block from the beach and park where you can swim, boogie board, let kids play in the park, see resting Hawaiian Green See Turtles on the beach, catch glimpses of a Hawaiian Monk Seal and see spectacular sunsets. If you like walking, take the path by the house to the Grand Hyatt, an incredible luxury property where you can have drinks, dinner and see how the wealthy folks live! The Koloa Fish Market has great fresh poke. Stop in Hanapepe on your way to Waimea Canyon or Barking Sands. The Na Pali sail from Port Allen was a real highlight, with Spinner dolphins, breaching humpbacks and incredible vistas. Don’t hesitate to book this cottage; you won’t be disappointed!

Outstanding in Every Respect
We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed home located in the heart of Poipu. Easy walk to beach and several restaurants. The home is spacious and clean. Brent, the owner, was terrific to deal with and he provided many helpful tips on things to do as well as valuable restaurant recommendations. The ability to use the nearby Athletic Club was a real plus, especially on our last day in Kauai. We can’t wait to return.

Family with toddler getaway
We come to Kauai annually but this was our first time on the south end of the island. Highly recommend Poipu for young families and this listing! So many gems at this beautiful property. To list a few: the outdoor shower was to die, indoor/outdoor floor plan was perfect for our toddler to run in and out of while still being able to watch him and make dinner, easy walk to the beach allowed us to go there a few times a day without a big fuss. The house is fully stocked with all that you need included a beach cart, umbrella, chairs and sand toys we used daily. Hosts were very easy and friendly to communicate with. Can’t wait to return.
