This tropical oceanfront complex has long been revered for the immaculate and beautifully landscaped grounds that spread over 5 acres. It features an ocean front lawn, and a multitude of on-site amenities that guests keep coming back for year after year. This popular resort complex features a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, work out room, tennis court and more! Convenient on-site activities desk located at the pool, so you can book all of your Maui excursions in one spot, just steps from your condo. Enjoy the fantastic Maui sunsets, excellent whale watching (during whale season), and beach walks, that often include turtle sightings. Maui Sunset is located within close proximity to all the amazing activities that Maui has to offer, with ALL of the best South Maui beaches, shopping, restaurants, and all conveniences nearby!

This gorgeous condo has been remodeled top to bottom and is the perfect place for your Maui stay. New décor throughout, including upgraded queen sleep number mattress in the bedroom and a brand new queen sleeper sofa. The spacious open concept floor plan can accommodate 4 people very comfortably. The condo features a custom bathroom with large glass and tile shower lots of storage and a washer/dryer for your convenience. Sit outside on the lanai and enjoy the view and beauty that surrounds you. Kihei is noted for its year round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island!

CANCELLATION POLICIES AND OPTIONS:

.TRAVEL INSURANCE – Please look into this as your first line of defense, as it limits losses for both parties in this difficult time. All of the major booking sites offer trip insurance and you can purchase this protection directly at time of booking. Also, many credit cards do offer some sort of travel reimbursement as terms of their program, please check with your credit card company as well, should you chose not to protect your trip with the site you are booking this reservation with.

For bookings without Travel Insurance, we have the below options:

CANCELLATIONS - 30 DAYS or MORE before check-in, Renters will receive a REFUND of the amounts paid less any travel insurance fee and minus a $99.00 + Tax Administrative Fee.

CANCELLATION 29 DAYS or LESS before check-in, Renters will forfeit the total rental amount. The total rental includes all charges on the paid-in-full invoice.

There are NO REFUNDS for EARLY DEPARTURE.

This place was amazing. The property manager was very helpful. It was so close to the beach my granddaughter and I walked down to the beach each night to watch the sunset. Would highly recommend this place.

Great location and amenities
We were visiting Maui for the second time and knew we wished to be in Kihei. This property provided great access to the beach and the layout of the property itself with the central courtyard was wonderful. Access to the water, Pickleball courts, the pool and just a family friendly atmosphere added to our holiday. We were able to walk to local restaurants from here - 25 min - and had a quick drive to grocery. A great play to stay, especially as a family.

Great Maui vacation stay!
We absolutely loved staying here! The condo is bright, happy, and fresh! We could not have been more comfortable and settled in so easily. I especially loved sitting on the lanai with my feet kicked up looking at the beautiful courtyard and the ocean waves. I just wish I could go back and stay permanently!

Maui Sunset is in a busy area, if you are looking for a quiet location at this property you may want to rent along beach front side. Our unit was close to main road.Our condo was beautifully decorated but needs some TLC in regards to maintenance and some items should be replaced because of wear and tear. Landscapers were working on lawns for a week and you couldn’t hang around pool because of machine noise and dirt blowing up from thatching machines. Good complex for family’s with kids if you are not concerned with surrounding road noise.

Comfortable place without crazy resort fees
Easy access to the bus stop and we loved that, as a family, we didn't have to worry about crossing a street or traffic to hit the beach. Several good restaurants in walking distance and we became regulars at the local shave ice hut.

Lovely home base to explore Maui
The property was clean and comfortable, had a lovely view, and the location is a great central base from which to explore the different corners of Maui. Only very minor negatives would be, the air conditioner in the bedroom is quite loud, and the kitchen lacked a few necessities (the property manager is up front about this, but recommend taking a close look around to figure out what basics you will and won't need to stock for yourself). Warmly recommend :).

Great Complex
Maui Sunset is an older complex but is very well maintained. The courtyard picture does not do it justice; it is huge and meticulously maintained. Lovely pool area. Small fitness room met all our needs. Located very close to stores, restaurants and other activities. The unit was immaculately clean with fabulous appliances. The two air conditioners and three superb ceiling fans kept us very comfortable. Quiet time hours were well respected. The few issues we encountered were quickly and effectively addressed by VIP property management who were a delight to deal with.

Gorgeous condo
Condo was gorgeous, beautiful and fresh decor and was spotless. Phenomenal communication throughout process! Only suggestion would be a larger kitchen trash can (had to take it out three times during two night stay) and also larger tv. While we didn’t spend much time watching it, was a bit of a strain to see from sofa. Overall that ain’t impact our thoughts of the unit. Was a great stay and appreciate all of the attention to detail.

I was so happy to find out this place had everything I needed to have a great vacation. Beach chairs, umbrella, toys, floats and much more. We had a great time and the location was nice. Perfect location !
The apartment was fully equipped on the kitchen. We cooked dinner, made coffee, and a fridge with water. 5 min walk to the beach - we saw a sea turtle. Easy access to major beaches, road to Hana & 15 min from Costco /Whole Foods. Comes with a DVD player. All units have the balcony - we truly did not want to leave. Thank you Muai Sunset.
