Relaxing
We found everything we needed in the property. It was a peaceful location, a short 5 minute walk into the little town, fine for us but an uphill climb to return which wasnt suitable for elderly parents so we took them down in the car. I'd advise mosquito repellant, they were an issue. Pre book restaurants as they do get busy.

Gorgeous villa with beautiful views
This villa is located on the outskirts of the town so you get the benefit of being able to easily walk into lovely Sant Josep whilst being in a quiet and serene location. The views from the villa are lovely, overlooking pine woodland out to the sea and the stars at night time are incredibly bright and clear. The villa is decorated in a traditional style, is homely and has all of the facilities you would expect. Everything was very clean and tidy and Paul met us on arrival and gave us a thorough introduction to the villa. He was also contactable throughout the stay and very helpful when needed. The external environment to the villa is beautiful with lots of different spaces to enjoy. There are places to dine together, different small seating areas and a fantastic outside cushioned area which is really comfortable. The pool is big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. There is a gated driveway and plenty of off road parking. I would fully recommend this villa - it's got everything you need to have a great holiday but also easy to get to from the airport, in close proximity to the local beaches and an easy walk into the town which has a good range of restaurants and shops. We had a great time and would definitely consider returning.

Excellent Villa in a superb location
We had a fantastic week in this lovely, well equipped villa. The swimming pool and outside seating areas were ideal for our family. The views over the valley to the sea are exceptional. It is a peaceful location but only a five minute walk into St. Josep which has a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Thank you Paul for being an excellent host and sharing your family home with us.

We had a great week in this beautiful Villa, lovely pool with gorgeous views over the countryside and sea. Walking distance to village with supermarket and a few restaurants and a short drive to fantastic beaches and restaurants. Taxis couldn’t always find us but there’s a taxi rank down the hill. Beautiful Property, Fantastic Location, Super Host, Top Location
The villa is beautiful and well kept. It is exactly as advertised and we loved the 70's Ibiza vibe. Us two + our two young adult children holidayed her for 7 days with the intent to get away, relax, enjoy some time together. The villa was perfect for this and ticked the box in everyway we wanted. The pool, the terrace for dining and late evening chats/playing games were spot on. the surrounding area is lovely, the villa has great views and the village St Josef has great restaurants and shops. It is not often that I feel compelled to write reviews or to say that I want to go back somewhere but in this case - yes & yes! Thanks Paul - Much appreciated.

Fantastic best ever
This is by far the best villa we have stayed in, the elevated position of the villa not only gave us stunning views but also cool breezes. The villa is well laid out with obvious thought taken in the layout and positioning of the various outside seating areas making best use of the outside space. San Jose is but a short walk away with delightful friendly bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Paul was always on hand and extremely helpful in recommending places to eat and visit.

From the moment we arrived at Villa Can Xanchu and saw the view from the terrace across to the sea we knew we had chosen the perfect place for our Ibizan holiday. The villa was very peaceful, spotlessly clean and the big pool and garden with the various seating areas was perfect for our group. Situated just a couple of minutes walk from the quiet village of San Josep and only a short drive from Ibiza Town and San Antonio it really was in an ideal spot for us to explore the island and all it had to offer. Paul was very helpful both before and during our stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone.

Too beautiful to leave
Having spent a week in the Ibiza, intentions for the holiday were to use the villa as a base to explore the island. How wrong we were, we were so in love with the villa that we spent the majority of the time relaxing by the large pool, enjoying the stunning views and having BBQs beside the poolside in the evening. The villa was fresh and spacious therefore we did not feel crowded and we had the benefit of a cleaner twice a week. The villa is situated a short walk from San Joseph village which is delightful! It provides all that you should need with a lovely restaurant, supermarket, fishmongers and butchers. In addition, Paul, the host, was very friendly and approachable which meant we felt safe and comfortable during our time there. Highly recommend and will be back!!

Fantastic Property
The property is located in a great location with all the facilities to make for a fantastic holiday. Paul was very helpful throughout the whole process from booking, arriving at the property and throughout the stay. Our 2.5 year old loved the pool and gardens exploring everywhere. Would highly recommend the villa.

Stunning Villa, perfect location
We had a wonderful stay at this villa. It had everything we needed for 9 of us. The facilities are excellent and the handover and assistance provided to us by Paul and his wife were above and beyond. We would totally recommend this villa. It is a quick walk to the supermarket and little bars and restaurants of Sant Josep and there is also a taxi rank which makes getting around very easy. We travelled to San Antonia for a party and a wedding and a hen and stag do, that is how easy it was. There is nothing I would change about this villa or that I would want from its location. The pool is a great size and there is a little garden where the kids enjoyed playing badminton. The living space is fantastic, given we were 9 we never felt crowded and the pool area was a beautiful communal space for BBQ's and playing cards.

Spacious, cosey get-away with large pool
We loved our stay. Paul is a great host. The house has a great layout and lots of space. The location is perfect to head out to beaches or Ibiza town. San Jose with tiny cafes and shops are just a 5min walk.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was nothing the villa didn’t have and our host, Paul was really helpful. The one problem we had was with taxis. They either didn’t show or they were really late because they couldn’t find it! Stunning villa though. Really beautiful

Great modern and spacious villa in an excellent location
Seamless and easy communication and check-in. The villa has everything you need (the only thing it that it's a bit noisy), and especially the outside area is very nicely decorated. The location is great (and safe and well-accesible) with many things within 15-minute driving distance, and Sant Josep town is small but cute with some nice little restaurants and a small supermarket. The owner Paul is a friendly guy, we could even check-out a few hours later. We would definately rent this villa again.

Selten findet man ein Haus, dass so liebevoll und dabei so professionell ausgestattet ist. Vermieter Paul ist ein aufmerksamer und dabei richtig liebenswerter Gastgeber, dem glaubhaft daran gelegen war das es uns an nichts fehlte! Die Lage - der Pool - die Aufteilung der Zimmer - es war alles absolut top!! Wir kommen wieder!

Villa Can Xanchu is a great place to spend time with your friends and family. The house is very well thought so that every one can have privacy but also gather to spend time together. John was a very considerate host. He was very flexible for check-in and check-out. We definitely recommand this house for your holidays in Ibiza !

Un emplacement idéal et une maison de rêve
Magnifique séjour en famille dans cette maison qui est proche de magnifiques plages (Cala Comte notre préférée). Un endroit très tranquille dans un cul de sac et accès à pied au centre du charmant village de San Josep. La maison est tout ce qu’on pouvait rêver de mieux, propre, belle, spacieuse, bel extérieur et magnifique piscine. Paul est une personne très agréable et aidante. On recommande vivement!

Can Xanchu is een hele fijne en ruime villa van alle gemakken voorzien, met een prachtige buitenruimte bestaande uit verschillende eet, zit- en relax hoekjes en een heerlijk zwembad. De villa heeft een fantastisch uitzicht en uitstekende ligging op een kleine 5 minuten lopen van het centrum van San Josep de sa Talaia. Daarbij is het een een ideale uitvalbasis om de vele baaien / strandjes in het zuidwesten / zuiden te bezoeken. Ibiza stad, Sant Antoni de Portmany en verschillende uitgaansgelegendeden liggen op slechts een kwartierje rijden met de auto of taxi. Wij hebben ontzettend van ons verblijf genoten en Paul is een zeer prettige, flexibele host die goed bereikbaar is!

What a fantastic house. We stayed with 8 adults and 2 small kids. Plenty off space with great outdoor facilities. Situation is also excellent. In 20 minutes you can cover most highlights. For sure i will come back

Fantastisch mooi, ruim en gezellig huis
Dit huis is echt een Ibiza-style woning! Het ontbreekt je aan niets, alles is aanwezig. De host Paul is zeer gastvrij, vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Prachtig huis , op loopafstand van t dorpje. Wel een licht hellende weg, maar zo mooi gelegen . Heerlijk rustig .. huis zeer compleet uitgerust, schoon . De foto s geven echt weer hoe het is . Eigenaar / verhuurder Paul was zeer gastvrij , goed te bereiken als er wat is . Echt een superplek, waar je je thuis voelt !

Tolles Haus in toller Umgebung
Wie von vielen bereits geschrieben war alles bestens. Vermieter Paul sehr nett und hilfsbereit, das Haus mit tollem Pool und Aussenlounge so schön wie auf den Fotos. Die Lage 400 m vom Ortszentrum San Josep genial. Auch eine kleine Wanderung auf den Sa Talaja (höchster Berg Ibizas mit 475 m...) ist direkt vom Haus aus möglich (ca. je 1 Stunde Auf-und Abstieg). Mietauto bietet sich an, diverse tolle Strände sind schnell zu erreichen. Insgesamt ein toller Familienurlaub zu siebt von 2 bis 67 Jahren...und alle waren begeistert. Thanks Paul! Hope to be back soon;-)!

Un sogno di casa in un’isola bellissima
Una villa che ha tutto quello che si può desiderare . Posizione perfetta per raggiungere comodamente tutte le parti dell’isola, fuori dalla confusione ma vicinissima al paese di Saint Josep raggiungibile comodamente a piedi. La casa è ricca di fascino e atmosfera ibicenca, Paul è padrone di casa perfetto e pronto per ogni necessità. La piscina molto bella , la vista impagabile sul mare in lontananza il silenzio del contesto circostante fanno di questo luogo un paradiso di relax e piacere. 4 comode stanze e tanto spazio per starci comodissimi anche in 8 . Bellissima vacanza

Ruim, prettig, goed gelegen huis met prachtig zwembad.
Heel fijn huis, prettige eigenaar. Vier prima slaapkamers, 3 badkamers en genoeg leefruimte binnen en schaduwplekken buiten. Op 5 minuten lopen van een goed tapasrestaurant in het dorpje. Heerlijk zwembad. Ik kom hier zeker terug!

Superbe maison et gentillesse du propriétaire.
La maison est superbe, dans le plus pur style ibizenco. La literie est très confortable et la cuisine très bien équipée. La situation de la maison (entre Eivissa et San Antonio) ainsi que la proximité du village de San Josep où l'on peut aller à pied et y trouver toutes les commodités est très appréciable. Paul le propriétaire qui habite à coté est disponible au moindre soucis. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et espérons bien avoir l'occasion de revenir y séjourner.
