The resort was lovely. The cleaning products used were too strong smelling and gave me a headache, so I had to air my room out for hours before I could enter it again to sleep. To make our arrival easier, I wish there was a map of the property, explaining the location of all the restaurants, etc... Overall, this place was beautiful, the staff were nice, good food and a safe place for kids to play and wander around while parents relax or play with them :)

Excellent family hotel
Loved our stay here, hotel has everything a family needs for a holiday. Restaurants were good quality and staff really friendly. The rooms were a good size, with enough room for a pram to be left. Finally very convenient for the airport, with a taxi company in the foyer.

The hotel manager Sameh and Osama were very nice and helpful. Always willing to go above and beyond. However, there were problems from the start. Ahmed the night receptionist was hostile and ill mannered. Checks were not made against booking, One of the rooms was cancelled during check in and we were told one adult and child had to find another hotel or pay for a room that was already paid for. Check in took a whole 3 hours, issues were escalated to manager Sameh, who upgraded us, however, blame was transferred to expedia. Room was not to the standard as expected, broken door safety bar, broken door handle, balcony doors did not shut, one of the rooms AC did not work, brown tap water, and drains did not drain. The la carte restaurant's which are 6/7 restaurants was not bookable, as staff were booking for visitors before the window for booking became available. Heated pools-advertised as 6 heated pools, when we got there only two were heated and on one of the days the heating was not turned off. All issues raised a number of times. There was no action taken. Excursion companies were charging variable rates according to how gullible clients were, transportation for the excursions was horrendous for example, backless seats, that did not have seatbelts, and we were charged £10 for 3 drinks that children thought were complimentary at the end of excursion. Bad communication with airport transfer services. 45 minutes to get someone to help with the luggage. Food is average and with no service. Buffet removes the food before closing hours and don’t help you with drinks or anytime. A few efficient employees, mostly slow.

Good Holiday but!!
The receptionist was helpful, he try to support me as much as possible, the only problem was the crowded and COVID rules are not fully enforced on the guests at the restaurants

I planned to stay in sunrise aqua joy hurgada me and my wife for three nights from 7/3/2021 to 10/3/2021 After carful research and reviewing hotel photos I made the reservation through expedia But when we arrived the hotel, we got shocked our vacation we waiting for months ruined The main reason we came for the beach and snoring activity is faded , its not an open beach its marina for yachts and we cannot swim farther a very small part of the still water however the photos shows without any yachts and shows the open sea I asked the receptionist to cancel or amend my reservation but he said you didn’t book from my side please get back to your booking agency After a long way drive, I compelled to stay one night also to looking for another hotel so I start communication with expedia and they get back to hotel and amend my reservation to be one night will be deducted and refund me by the other two nights so the most of my stay there used to finish with expedia and looking for another hotel When I am checking out the same receptionist told me your booking was cancelled at all and you must pay this night by cash here and with the same way I replied get back to the agency its already paid but he said we sent them an email and we waiting for reply and till then you cannot move out of the hotel Me and wife got shocked are we under arrest till they reply after debates take over two hours, I call the police we need to move our second day getting ruined and the police came an

The staff polite and helpful - and all seems aware of the guidelines for managing safety for all. However it seems that Covid has taken it’s toll - the overall rating was in line with a reasonable 3* hotel. This hotel was certainly not 5* Phones did not work in the bedroom and bathroom. Air condition switch missing. Dress code for the restaurant was written but not enforced. We were quite bemused when a staff advised that we “dress up for the a la cart”. On arrival at the restaurant there was no dress code and falls short of Reasonable attire. The disabled facility did not fit for purpose as the wheel chair ramp was far too steep and presents a risk to users

اسوء خدمة في العالم بشكل عام ، عند استقبالنا اخرونا للساعه ٤ حتى تسجيل الدخول للغرفة ثم كان يوجد خلل بالخزنه ولم يتم اصلاحه لليوم الثاني بسبب التطنيش المستمر من الموظفين والتسليك بكلمة حاضر وحاضر وثواني نكون عندك، والغرفة كانت ملاصقة لغرفة بها اولاد ونحن متزوجين جديد لذلك كان ذلك اكبر مصدر ازعاج وعدم راحة لنا، فقط الاكل تبعهم كان جميل جدا اما الخدمة بشكل عام فااااشله بكل ماتعنيه الكلمة ولذلك لاانصح احد به ولن اكرر زيارتي ابدا له

Not worth the miney value
The resort is too limited in spaces which is risky in the current circumstances and not up to the expectation nor the money value. Very limited utilities, however the staff was so friendly and helpful.
