The lady at the desk was really nice. She helped me the best she could but this hotel is old n smells of mold. There’s a humidifier in the room so obviously there’s been a problem here.

Great location for everything!! Older hotel but definitely clean , quiet and safe! We love Hilton Head definitely will visit again hoping to bring my mom. The GM Susanna is amazing really makes you feel at home!

The property was beautiful on the outside. But the rooms looked nothing like the pictures. The bed was advertised as queens, they were definitely doubles. We even called the front desk to make sure we were given the correct rooms and told that was their queen size. The photos showed a couch in the room, which we were looking forward to and there wasn’t one in the room. Our key cards for the room demagnetized no less than 12 times during our 2 night stay. We were told it was our phones (which we made sure to keep away from the key) and car keys causing them to demagnetize. It got extremely frustrating. The room smelled like a mix of old cigarettes and mold and the dehumidifier was not doing much to help. On the morning of check out they had someone in testing the fire alarms, the alarm began going off at 9 am and continued going off several times. No one from the property bothered to warn guests that this would occur, we were ready to evacuate the building. Overall it was a convient property to the beach but not the best experience we had hoped for.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was located very conveniently and close to several beaches. It was the cheapest hotel on the island we could find during peak season. They offered some cold grab and go snack items for breakfast like honey buns and donuts. It was good enough for us and we would come back.

Had to run the dehumidifier in the room constantly, if you didn't run it constantly the room began to smell like urine. Very outdated rooms. Check in staff weren't very pleasant. Beds were uncomfortable. Pillows were the size of couch pillows. Would not recommend staying here if you could find another hotel.

My wife noticed mold on the room dehumidifier and the air vents. Neither ice machine worked. A lobby breakfast was advertised but it was a very slim selection of a few donuts and a couple of other unappetizing items. Worst of all, there was no coffee except for flavored k-cups. No coffee maker for regular coffee was there.

It was an okay stay . The beds were comfortable , but there was trash left under the chair in our room , there was a hole in the floor , the shower made a annoying high pitch noise the whole time I was in the shower believe it was the shower head . And there was mold on our curtains .

The towel/washcloth swap everyday SUCKS! Please buy more towels and washcloths for the rooms and stop making your guest turn in the used ones every morning and then wait till late afternoon before you return the fresh ones. This system is CRAZY! Never seen this before. You had smokers that were smoking on the balcony sitting beside the no smoking sign and the front desk help done nothing to resalve the issue.

Complete dump. Had to stay one night before we could get into our rental property. Room was dirty, type of place you don’t want to take your shoes off. No other way to describe it other than dirty and nasty. Front desk staff were polite but at 4 o’clock (check in time) everyone was told they had to wait another 15-20 minutes due to shift change. Why would you do shift change at check in time? Avoid this place at all costs…

Try the Hotel Carolina for their unusually low rates. Return for their clean rooms, nice pool area, and friendly staff. Pros: clean, friendly, central location, convenient elevator, clean pool area, complimentary bottled water and coffee.

Lack of attention to details.
A part of the Wynham Hotel chain and they need to spuce it up. IT wasn't a bad stay but the attention is in the details. Small things like the micorwave table rattling, the handle on the toilet sticking, the towels beign of gym quality and the lack of storage space in the room for clothes.The small things are lacking. The staff are friendly, the area is nice with a popular dinner a short walk away. But this hotel just needs some tweeking from the mother company to be a higher rated establishment.
