We enjoyed our stay here, everything was as described, there was even a lot of supplies provided by the owner. However, we were running a little low on paper towels and there was no laundry detergent, we didn’t bring any because we didn’t plan to do any laundry, but did have to rinse something in the washing machine without soap after a mishap while hiking. It’s always good to be prepared and we were not, so that’s on us.
The entranceway and kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but the bathrooms were spotless and so were the bedrooms.
The keyless entry door lock was in perfect working order (that might be a silly thing to comment on, but we’ve been to places where there were problems with the keyless entry door lock and it became a nightmare).
The wi-fi became spotty at times, but this didn’t bother us much as we were out exploring for most of our stay, but I assume the issues were due to the incredible amount of rain we received.
This place is a perfect location to everything there is to do in Harpers Ferry. It’s a little bit of a long walk down to the lower town, but doable for sure. We didn’t care to walk all the way down and back in the rain, but on a nice day it would be a very enjoyable walk.
