Snowed in and comfortable
The weather ended up turning bad, but it was cozy and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. It was more spacious than I realized and it has a twin bed plus a futon in the living room. Great yard for BBQ, line drying clothes, and eating outside. When we come back will be staying again. The cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed at

Great place to stay and one that I I will return to next time I am in the area. Very clean and bigger than the pics show. I would say the owners are a bit humble in their advertisement. The kitchen had everything for cooking and a bbq too! Thanks!

Top notch accommodations
Pictures do not do justice after seeing the place in person. We enjoyed the house, with the personal touches added in. Our suggestion would be to add handles on the silverware and utensil drawers. Thank you for opening your house to us.

Sparkling Clean and Welcoming
Dad's House was perfect for our stay in Harlowton. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the comfort and amenities of this home. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. It was bigger than it appears in the pictures and probably the cleanest property I have ever rented. Susan was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome!

Dad's House
We could not have been more comfortable if we were at home. Cool, comfortable and quiet. If we forgot something - it was provided. The hosts were quick to respond. The town itself is awesome. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

I've stayed here before 72 years ago!
A unique experience, indeed! This was the house I lived in 72 years ago when I was a child in Harlowton. My mother bought the house while my father was away in WWII. We lived there until moving across the street into a log home my father built. Sue and Mike were so friendly and easy to work with on this property. They actually came down and visited with us to get this "back story" about the property. We enjoyed them very much. The cabin was very clean and fitted with everything. A pizza in the freezer was a nice touch since we arrived without any plans for dinner. The evening visit from the deer was a pleasant surprise! The cabin is close to everything. Very quiet back street with friendly neighbors. Darkening curtains made it very DARK for sleeping. The washer/dryer were top of the line and handy. TV channels were streaming, so lots to watch, if you want that. High speed internet was helpful for our needs. Sue was very flexible with our check-in times as we had an event to attend that required a change of clothes and early check-in. Well done. You will be amazed! We will stay here again when we come back to Harlo for the rodeo/parade/family reunion and dino-dig!

Clean, comfortable and caring owners
Comfortable house that we found very clean. The owners thoughtfully left food for late check- in and next morning breakfast. The addition of a reverse osmosis water system was extremely appreciated after many stays in Harlowton required bottled water. Quiet neighborhood also with privacy. If you find yourself needing accommodations in Harlowton, this is the place! The owners responded quickly when we found the Wifi not working. Much appreciated. Thank you Susan and Mike for providing this place to stay in Harlowton.

More home than house!
Something about this place reminded me of those cross country family driving treks as a kid when we would arrive to the welcoming space of my grandparents . This home has generational stories as its foundation and offers a much needed respite for the road weary. Mike and Susan reached out to make sure this place would accommodate my husband who is in a manual wheelchair(paraplegic T4/T5 level). They measured door frames and moved furniture to make sure he could have easy and independent access. The bed transfer height and bathtub entry and exit worked for his level of abilities. We enjoyed a visit to the train museum. For my chef husband... the fully outfitted kitchen made for ease of meal preparation. There are so many thoughtful and creative touches that made it difficult to leave this home:) Thank you so much for sharing this space with others. If we could add another star, we would! Perfect place to stay, especially with our two dogs. Clean, simple, and functional. Host went out of her way to even leave us some food, as we were arriving later in the day after everything in town was closed.

This was such an amazing experience the house is so cute love the story of the dad‘s love the fact that I got to read dad‘s Bible place is clean communication is on point I highly recommend staying here. If I’m ever back in this area again I will definitely stay here thank you for such a great experience. The owner even left us a frozen pizza in the freezer in case we got in late and there was nowhere to eat and stuff for breakfast in the morning such a sweetheart

Cute Cute house!
I love the character an older home provides, this one has just that! The renovation is adorable, perfect little house for our stay. We got in very late due to flight delays and weather. That didn't stop Susan from being a wonderful and very accommodating host! If you gotta stay in Harlow, stay here!
