The staff were very good and unobtrusive. The coffee and tea supplies weren't replenished daily which was a disappointment. The bed was remade which was a pleasant surprise
It was very handy to Waikato Hospital which was why we chose this motel. It is on a main road so a bit noisy but our unit had double glazing which made it somewhat quieter.

On check in I Had to wait outside for roughly 10min for someone to return and open up. Not a huge deal I suppose. When I actually went into the room later that evening it was so hot and there was no aircon remote. The front desk was closed (earlier than actually listed on their hours) so was unable to complain. We had to sleep with all windows open and the back door open for part of the night, not impressed at all. Also the tv in the second bedroom didn’t work so kids were unable to use this when wanting to relax. Part of the window frame was lying against wall too.
Spacious room with kitchenette and modern extra large shower, comfortable bed. Some noise from the road but not too loud. New World is close by. The motel is located near Hamilton Lake (beautiful place to visit) and not far from Hamilton gardens. Great place for breakfast is Cafe Kirk.
The room was clean with reasonable items to stay comfortably. But there were a few flies in the room and they were nuisance till I could kill them all. The yellow line marked two parking lots seemed to be for handicapped people. But no clear sign.
I was staying to visit my mother in hospital. Very easy walk to Waikato. Very comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Other facilities average but clean and good heating. I didn’t like the smell of cleaning products or maybe air freshener, but I am sensitive to this.
It was very noisy with road noise. Even though there is double glazed windows the front door lets in alot of sound. If you want a quiet night you wont get it here
