Detached Whole House with stunning views over Morecambe Bay (2 double bedrooms)

We refurbished this two double-bedroomed Lake District property in monochrome with musicians, artists, poets, cyclists and walkers in mind.

It is ideal for you and your friends as it has two ample double bedrooms and two sofa beds.

We have an electric grand piano, guitar, cello, ukelele and easel with a selection of charcoals. Bring your own sketchpads, and enjoy!

The bungalow is surrounded by a garden which you can sit in to enjoy the surroundings, and there are two free parking spaces in front of the property.
The balcony is fabulous to watch or paint the ever changing scenery over the Bay, the night sky and the weather- you can see as far away as Blackpool tower on a clear night!

We are adding another loo (Sept 23) and an overground swimming pool in 2024.
It is a short walk to the small supermarkets, boutiques and restaurants in Grange Over Sands, which has a connecting railway station.

There are so many different walks in the Lake District that you will need to fill up on food. Cartmel village provides Michelin Starred restaurants, the famous Cartmel Races and the best ice-cream shop. They even serve doggie ice-cream.
Lake Windermere is a ten minute drive away, and Beatrix Potters house and Wordsworth's cottage are a must visit.

We look forward to sending you even more info in our welcome pack, to help you get a feel for the area and activities etc.

Week end break
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bungalow. The view of Morecambe Bay was outstanding from the lounge and bedroom where we had morning coffee to watch the sunrise and gin & tonic to watch the sunset very relaxing. All the rooms were a good size loads of storage. The kitchen has everything you need including 2 hobs & a very large fridge freezer. Quiet locaction but only a short walk to the centre of Grange.

Great place to unwind
Visited for three days with my elderly mother. We loved watching the changes in the view as the tide ebbed and flowed. Beautiful property, had everything we needed.

Lovely house, very well equipped. Clean and tidy. Lovely views of bay, but obviously to get views like that you are on a hill so be warned if you have health or mobility issues if walking anywhere.

Fantastic views
Fantastic views in a lovely quiet location yet close to all amenities, some lovely walks locally. Property well equipped kitchen, perhaps a slimline dishwasher would be a welcome addition. We all enjoyed playing the piano and guitar by the roaring fire

Fantastic Views Even On A Dismal Day
We arrived on a dreich, dismal day but the views from both the front room and the master bedroom were every bit as stunning as we'd been led to believe, the sky changes colour all the time and I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in warmer months The house had everything we could have asked for with a very well equipped kitchen which we made use of for meals and I even discovered cake forks which I put to good use !! I was especially pleased to see a great selection of glasses including proper gin balloons, coupes, a cocktail shaker and best of all, a wine cooler with a lovely inscription on it ( I'd actually taken my own one as I hate to have to get up and down to the fridge, 1st time I've not needed it ) I just wish I could have been sitting out on the balcony drinking wine and watching the sky change colour but sadly the weather was too cold or too wet whilst we were there My husband specially loved the stove and it created so much heat that I ended up having to open a window. We bought a bag of logs at a petrol station and these did us 2 nights We did a lot of sightseeing and loved Cartmel, minutes up the road which was so lovely walking around even in the rain We also visited the Lakeland Motor Museum which is a must for anyone interested in the evolution of vehicles and there's the added bonus of The Bluebird Exhibition about the Campbells and their land and water world records.
